VGF or wait for DVC Poly??

Can't decide!! I really like VGF, but I think Villas at Poly would be ideal. However, does anyone really know if DVC will build at Poly? We own at BWV, but would really like a MK resort. Maybe we should just hold off until we know for sure about Poly. Any thoughts?!

We are planning on adding on at VGF but not to visit any parks. For MK we love BLT and have always been lucky at 7 months. We want VGF for a few nights to relax, swin, sit on the balcony with a bottle of wine and have good evening meals without interfering with park time as all our real must do restaurants are on the monorail. For a monorail resort to do the MK from I really think BLT is by far the best as you can walk.

As we already own at Bay Lake so we won't be buying into another MK resort but if I was in a position to purchase something than we'd be waiting for the Poly.

GF seems too much like being in PA where Bay Lake is like being in a SciFi movie. I like to change environments because it helps me feel like I've gone somewhere, enhancing my vacation mood.

This is my I think waiting for the Poly is a better decision.

Personal decision of course. IF Poly is your dream and the choice is between GF now or Poly in 2-3 years, I'd wait. I think you have sufficient evidence that the Poly will happen and if it doesn't, you can always buy GF later. Expect it to be a similar program with a slightly higher price tag. If you needed enough points to do both, that would be an option also, some now at GF and some later at the Poly. Depending on how many points you're looking at, I'd encourage you to consider a fixed week option of some type if the number of points is close to what you need.

Thanks for your thoughts! It does make sense to wait for Poly, since that is what we would really like. And like Dean said, we can always buy at GF later if the villas at Poly doesn't actually happen. I knew I could count on you guys!!

Makes total sense to me!! I bet that you'll be glad you waited for the Poly. We own at BLT and really hadn't planned on adding on, but I felt that VGF was kind of my dream resort, so we went ahead. You seem to feel the same about the Poly! Let's hope they start building there soon - it's great to have so many choices
