VGF check-in

Arriving at VGF next week! Where is the current check-in? We stayed there last November and had to check in at the GF. Don't want to be hauling our luggage to and fro.

If you arrive using DME, they will drop you off at the GF and they will be expecting you to check-in there.

If you arrive using private transportation between 7 AM and 10 PM, you can check-in at VGF. Outside of those hours, check-in will be at the GF where the front desk operates 24/7.

NOTE: The hours for check-in at VGF are based on the available hours of the desk at BLT. I do know that the desk at VGF does not operate 24/7.

Check in at VGF was between 8AM and 10PM a couple of months ago.

To the OP, don't haul your luggage, have Bell Services do it.

In November, bell services directed us to the villas and didn't offer to transport. Did offer us a cart though and directions down the sidewalk! Haha. We didn't have much so we didn't mind carrying our things. I think there was a little confusion as to who's jobs were who's with the villas just opening.

At the GF there are some suit types that hover across from the front desk. Any questions or help needed just ask them.

When I was there in May, I got off the DME bus and walked over to the villa lobby and checked in there. When I got off the bus I asked the cm standing there if I go over to the villas and he said yes.

I check in the VGF on Aug 13 and I called DVC to ask this very question. I was told to check in at the villas

If you do online check in, someone has your packet. In the past DME riders checked in at the GF front desk and your packet was there.

If you didn't ride the DME, your packet was a VGF during their open hours.

Your best bet is to ask a CM on site where to check in.

Checking in 8/1 and just called MS. They said to check in at hotel.

My packet probably was at GF because the cm in the VGF lobby looked in a drawer but mine wasn't there so she made up a new one.

We checked in July 5 at VGF lobby. I did online check in about a week prior. When our car pulled in, we were met by a cast member carrying an iPad who greeted us by name. She took us to the chairs in the VGF lobby and confirmed all info. Our room wasn't ready, so she told us we would receive a text. She gave us our welcome packet and offered to answer questions. The process was really very smooth and only took a few minutes. I really love online check in.
