VGF can points still be bought direct from Disney?

Wife and I are wanting to buy 235-250 pts at VGF, already own at SSR for years. Is this still possible rather than aftermarket pts? I heard it was sold out but saw a chart of points sold on another site that showed them being still sold despite not being marketed albeit not many. How much are the points for VGF now? I can't seem to find that anywhere? Would I be put on a waiting list? Also would I have to put my DVC sales rep in a headlock to do this as I heard they are very resistant to selling pts at sold out resorts. Thanks.

They closed the waitlist for VGF a few months ago so unless you were already on it you cannot be added.

Good luck - I asked my guide, emailed MS AND Ken Potrock (basically stating some warning regarding the closure of wait lists would have been nice) and got nowhere, and I was just looking to add on 50.

DVC really teaches us that there isn't much of a Disney difference after all.

If you really want VGF, and were not on the wait list before it closed, your only option is resale. I don't think that's a bad thing though...

No way direct from disney
But saw a FEW contracts on a few dvc resale website
We also want to add on at VGF we have 2 contracts one at AKL and 1 at VGF
But got to say we are in love with grand F the resort .. The monorail.. The closeness to magic kingdom .. We love the restaurants at Grand F .. So for us we will look into resale as we dont want to wait ( scare prices will increase since its sold out )

I thought I saw some reports that you could still buy set weeks although not ones most who puirchase set weeks would want
