VGC Avalibility

I understand the seasons at WDW and know when the Florida DVC resorts will be hard to book at 7 months out but I do not know about seasons and avalibilty at DL at the VGC. Can someone enlighten me on when the easiest time to book 7 months out at the VGC would be?

I think some of that is TBD. DVC in FL tends to be busy when the parks are not as busy since folks are trying to maximize their points. I would imagine some of that will be mimicked at VGC. That being said, I got an October 11 ressie a few weeks ago and called today to check on availability late September and was told I could probably get a room, but they would have to check with a manager (it was near opening and several folks have reported similar things being mentioned when they called.) Its also difficult to tell at this point what folks will book since it is not sold out.

I think it's going to be hard to predict this first year, but I would expect it to be busy around the normal holidays. Until the resort sells out I think you'll be able to find availability at 7 mos.

I agree. I got my first choices at VGC right away. Looking at the points chart, I think the value versus premium seasons are very different in CA. than they are in FLA.
For me it works in my favor, for my vacation schedule. It seems I am always in the value, and low crowd seasons on both coasts.
