Veterans Day is on a Friday this year and our school system in New Jersey is closed for teachers convention the 10th and 11th. We're hoping for a quick trip to California. What are the expected crowd patterns?

We were there over Veteran's Day 2002. But we didn't go in the parks. Veteran's Day was on Monday and the Sunday before was insanely packed. So we skipped Monday (I was attending a conference anyway).
I remember hearing that DL wasn't near as crowded on Monday, the actual holiday, though.
