who the heck cares. How about C and B and even H? No one even mentioned poor S........................L and M and Z were involved too and they didnt get mentioned.
 
What would have helped would have been a comment to the manager then and there. I understand why you couldn't, but that would have helped. If J is that bad on a regular basis, managers probably have already heard complaints, so feel free to send the letter.

I tend to notice things going on around me. If it's something wrong enough to be as upsetting as this was to the OP, I would probably do/say something about it.

I do also think it was unprofessional for E to say anything about the situation to guests. She could accept the sympathy and extend her gratitude for it, but shouldn't be dishing details about the situation to her guests. That is completely unprofessional. Hopefully she can, or has, talked to her managers about this - because it isn't okay to be treated like that.
