Abortion is murder, no questions asked.
Allowing a woman to die while giving birth when all involved were aware that she could easily have been saved had she had the opportunity to abort is murder, no questions asked.
Allowing a baby to come to full term, although he's several malformed and can't live without close medical care and will not live beyond a few days is TORTURE and murder of the absolute worst kind, no questions asked.
Allowing a woman who was raped give birth to the rapist's child is murder of the soul, no questions asked.
Eh. Mom would take that label and wear it if it meant her kids wouldn't be forced to carry rapist's babies. I will too.
Last time I checked Sara Palin wasn't running for POTUS. Once again McCain just thinks this should be an issue that each state can deal with independently. Finally it's not the babies fault. There are thousands of couples both gay and straight that want nothing more than to have a child but are unable to, those people want to love and care for all the throw away babies!
.
But I'll keep it to one topic. Shortly after my husband and I married I found out I was pregnant. We were happy even though we both had children from previous marriages, an extremely tight budget and very little idea how we'd manage. Because of the way our insurance worked we had no coverage for the pregnancy or for the baby until it left the hospital after birth. We couldn't afford amnio so waited until about 18 weeks (this was a number of years ago) for a sonogram. Over the next week after visits with 3 specialists and our pediatrician we were told we had to make a choice and make it fast. The baby had numerous deformities, more than one of which would cause him to die within a few days or a week of his birth. He would be born suffering, was suffering inutero ! It was a horrible time. I felt rushed to make a decision before it was 'too late'. Finally I chose to terminate the pregnancy - my husband agreed but wouldn't tell me his preference until I was sure. It was agonizing. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. It was also the right thing to do.
