I loved the new Hall of Presidents when we saw it in Sept! I found the film portion very moving!

Love that you are trying so many new things! One of the best things about WDW is that there is so much to see and do that it never gets old!

I love Spectro! I teared up watchign your video. It's going to be repaced for the summer with Main St Electrical Parade. I hope it's not permanant though, as I really love spectro. I'm sure theres a palce to find the music for it. I need to find it and get it. LOL!

Nice update! I love Philharmagic! I remember the first time we saw it, we were just blown away!

I like the Pooh pics too! That ride is so cute!

I try to see PhilharMagic as much as possible. I know we are supposed to be seeing it as well at the D23 party, but i'm hoping they will have a big trailer/scene or something with Alice in Wonderland since it will be opening day.

Wouldn't that be the bee's knees!

fun updates. I have never been to Hall of Presidents. I actually have no desire and I'm sure Claire wouldn't like it either. LOL! I think DH went in and saw part of it in 2008 while Claire and I were watching the afternoon parade.

It is very good. It is all animatronic and Obama's speech is quite nice (vid in my post). Inside is also very nice; very patriotic and down-home american!

Awesome updates! I love that you sat and relaxed at the end of the day and ate your cake! Great moment!

It was really quite wonderful. Completely unplanned and a wonderful way to leave MK. I really hope I get to do that again.

Exactly! Always something on the "next time" list. Just knowing that I'm may be going back in October makes me not to do so much all the time. I think I can slow down.

I'm sure somewhere out there there is a CD with spectro music on it. i would be shocked if they don't!

As far as I can tell, the Main Street Parade does not have an ending date, but it sounds like it is a summer replacement.

It was up at 6:30am most days and I never came back to the condo until late late, so sleeping was all good.

So, I was out & about today since I started by 4 day weekend this morning (almost a 6 day weekend, but we had a delayed opening yesterday at work).

This morning, I headed off to my gym to go to 9:30am pilates class, then 30 minutes of bosu & rubberballs and ending with 30 minutes of running on the treadmill. I felt really good after that, so I went to do errands.

One of those errands, was a stop at my mailbox to pick up....

My D23 Quaertly Case came in! Now I can store all the pretty magazines in it!

I had to stop at the store to pick up a few things including...

I'll guess I'll start taking my vitamins now! (I had a coupon!)

Then I stopped at a local Hallmark store next to my mailbox and picked up this for 60% off...

to add to my previously posted collection.....

For reasons that still mystify me, pill vitamins do not work on me. So, I figured I'll try these. The coupon helped.

I'm ok with flying. It just by the end of the day, the bottom half of my legs look horrid. It does not hurt in any way but it definitely does not look pretty.

Tuesday, December 8 – Epcot & Magic Kingdom

Today is Segway Day! I’ve fell in love with Segways during my March trip and can’t wait to take this new tour.

It is called Nature by Design and it is described like something in-between Un-discovered World and Behind the Seeds tours.

So, this morning, I was up again at 6:30am (really, why is it so much easier to wake up super early on vaca than it is going to work? lol) and in the car by 7:30am and at Epcot’s front gates by 7:50am. I am always so nervous about being on time, I like to leave a lot a lot of wiggle room for anything that might happen. Parking did get a lot easier since now I knew where to go.

7:28 AM Dec 8th

Since I was on the early side, I took photos of the frontal area, whilst waiting for Mary.

Did you know he was holding lights? I didn't even notice last time!

I am taking this tour with Mary and she got held up by the monorail, but we were only a few minutes late. However, we would have been on time, but the CMs didn’t even know what tour we were on! Too funny. They sent us to the wrong place; we did say the “new Nature by Design” tour. But their auto-reflex must have then looking through the other Segway tour, Around the World. LOL!

We also didn’t get in any earlier for this 8:30am tour since it was magical hour morning that day. It wasn’t too busy from what I remember. I didn't see the Rope Drop again since I was waiting for Mary in front of park.

We get there, meet CMs Ed & Wade, watch the video, do the training on the actual Segway (how to get on, off, turn, go in a circle, etc, etc). I’ve done this before, so I got the hang of this bigger Seway – X2 made for off-roading – a bit easier than Mary did. Unfortunately, Mary took a tumble off the Segway. Note to others: the Segways turn on a dime, so they are sensitive to movement.

According to my notes, we did the best part of the tour first – we rode Soarin’! We rode there on our off-road Segways and entered through the CM entrance and reserved Row B1, baby! FANTASTIC!!! What does this make 3rd, 4th time on Soarin’? Doesn’t matter, there is no stoppin’ the Soarin’!!

Afterward, we rode to the Land and did a Behind the Seeds-type tour. I didn’t partake in the cucumbers they were giving out since I do not like them and I was sorry I forgot my camera in the Segway. I’m not sure whether one is allowed to take photos, but I imagine you could.

Next up, was a tour of The Seas via the CM entrance. I forgot the CM’s name, but she took us all around and pointed out all kinds of things. Plus, we also got “backstage” to hear another CM talk about the water filtration system. It was command central in there! The Seas CM was even more excited than we were since she wasn’t allowed back there either! Everything with water is controlled by this system at The Seas throughout the Disney Parks. Mind blowing!

Afterwards, we went off-roading down by the reservoir, up the hill, down the other side and all around. This particular challenge course was just slightly scary but it was no problem after the first second. The CMs we had were just great. All during the sections of the tour, we did some challenge courses.

Segways are so much fun! There are no Segway tours around me here in NJ, except for South Jersey and I don’t go down there. LOL!

Soon, it was 11:30am and the tour was over. We took the photo opp with our Segways. I gave CM Ed & Wade, my “CM Thank you”, Mary & I got our pic with them, but Mary has it, so I can’t post it for you.

As I look back, I should have just had them take a pic with my camera too, but I always feel bad. Though Ed & Wade seemed genuinely surprised by both my Thank you card and our request for a picture. We also got a Disney Worldwide Conservation Pin.

After the Segway tour, Mary & I went to the restroom to repair the damage to the hair. I had some time before I needed to leave for Magic Kingdom and my 1:20pm ADR.

We did the single ride line at Test Track, which took about 10-15 minutes. We got in separate cars, oh well. This time, on Test Track wasn’t that bad. Maybe I’m getting used to it? We did make sure our Test Track picture was added to our Photopass.

I walked to the entrance with Mary and we talked for a bit. We made soft plans to get together tonight. She stayed on while I walked on to get to my car, but of course, I stopped again for a PP. You knew I was going to do that right?

After this, I was off back to the Magic Kingdom for my 1:20pm ADR at The Plaza!

It wasn't cheap, unfortunately. I want to say it was $124, but it was an amazing tour. I may take it again in the future. I just love Segways.

I did forget to mention that I do indeed have a night & day pic in front of Santa Mickey & Minnie in front of Spaceship Earth. I seemed to have formed a trend for it.

I don't think they have started publicizing this tour yet. But, when signing up for it, be very clear on which tour you want to be on as well as when you get to Epcot. It was a little worrying when they couldn't find our reservation since they were looking at the wrong Segway tour.
