So far, I'm liking it ok. I just got it tonight, so I'm still playing with it a bit. I delayed this upgrade for so long. I was supposed to upgrade back in November. This is the closest I cold get to an iPhone, I think.

Super cool. I don't think I would even have a clue how to work it!

Park Hours Are Driving Me Crazy!!!!!!!!! :dance3:

Looney..... :joker:

Nutso ...... :crazy2:

It's actually figuring out the tours that are driving me bonkers ; no wonder people don't do them that much! :rotfl:

I submitted a question to the Moms Panel on Disney's website and it got answered in less than a day! Whoo-hoo! :woohoo:

Q: I am finding it very difficult to find information on the new Segway tour at Epcot called "Nature Inspired" (different from Around the World). Can you tell me more and what times it is offered?

- Asked by Michele from NJ on 9/1/2009
- Answered by Diane L., CT Category Tours

Hi Michele - I'm so happy to read your question! I honestly did not hear of this until I read your email. I just called Disney at 407-WDW-TOUR and they confirmed they have a new Segway tour called 'Nature-Inspired Design'. The cast member I spoke with said the tour is offered on Tuesday and Saturday at 8:15 a.m. and lasts approximately 3 hours. The cost is $124 and you have to be at least 16 years old. It looks like this tour will use the X2 Segways (similar to the ones used at Fort Wilderness) as the tour does include backstage Epcot.

Tour information for this event is not currently on the Disney website but if you Google "nature inspired segway tour" you will see lots of information. Reservations can be made 90 days in advance (changes to 180 days on October 27th) by calling the phone number above.

I'm so going to do this later this year! Enjoy the tour! Diane

Hehe! what she didn't say was that it should accept discounts on this tour like most of the other tours. ;)

Cool. Did they send you an email with your answer. I have asked stuff before and never gotten a response.

Yep, it must have been a question they have been waiting for! I'm glad I got a response and now, I don't have to call myself. ;)

It does help somewhat it my planning, but I need to get my friend on the ball since ADR day is this weekend! and I need to get all this done before my brain implodes! :rotfl:

Oiy. My eyes are bleeding and my brain is about to implode. I'm trying to figure out my schedule. I do need my friend's input, since it may or may not change things around a bit. ADR booking is this weekend!

The hardest thing is trying to get around F! nights, scheduling the tours and avoiding MK during taping (and god knows if there are any "private parties" for the PW kids). All this is exhausting me! LOL!!!

So here goes: your thoughts?

Friday, Arrival Day
I'm going to check-in at the condo and do a market/store/mall(?) run, then head over to DTD, do a spot of shopping, see about a night flight and eat at Raglan Road. Hit the sack because it is rope drop in the AM!!

Saturday
Staying far away from MK since it is Taping Day, though this is one of the few nights Spectro is showing.
Potentials:
1) Epcot - I could potentially book the Segway tour for this morning as I don't know what my friend is doing :confused3. It is only on Tuesday 7 Saturdays. It lasts all morning and should end around 11:30am and then continue on to check out Santas, Storytellers, Showcase Players and Snack Around the World.
Then head over to Boardwalk for a visit (via car) and check out the dueling pianos at Jellyrolls.

2) AK and AKL visit - this park should be the least crowded, assuming MK and Epcot are fairly crazy. It closes at 6pm, so it gives me more than enough time for a leisurely ADR at Yak & Yeti and head over for some fun at AKL.

3) HS - it is EMH AM day there, so I assume it will be crazy packed. But it is a non-F! day and I could park hop to see Osborne Lights after AK and not do AKL.

Sunday
No idea until Saturday is settled. See what I mean?

More Later!

Carried over from above......

I ended up not speaking with my friend over the last few nights, so this will now be designed as "Plan A". :lmao:

I just made my first ADR for my first day. :woohoo:

Now, I repeat it for the next several days. :rotfl: Ahhhh......the wonderfulness of staying off-site; the stress gets to be prolonged!

You didn't tell us what you got!:)

Hi Dawn! :wave2:

Nothing exciting, I'm afraid. I booked Raglan Rd at Downtown Disney via the online system. So far, I'm keeping to my plan. :thumbsup2 Time will tell if I make a Plan "B" or "C" or "D"...you get the picture.

Tomorrow, is booking the Segway tour. No dining since I plan to "Snack Around the World". popcorn::

My next decision is whether to go on a hike this afternoon or stay home and do work/housework! LOL!!!!!!!!

Here on The Cape it's a great day for a hike. Plan to head out as soon as we can pull ourselves together. Then an evening of housework as we prep from my DD 2nd birthday party tomorrow... Don't you just love tidying your house for guests :sad2:
