Disney Treasure Dining Room Seating Requests

How do you request a private table and when?
We’ve been on two Disney cruises 2 adults 2 kids and we’ve always had a private table without requesting.
We’ve got 2 cruises coming up and want to make sure it stays that way!
 
I email ahead about 2 months ahead and put a request in. Then, the first thing I do is head to dining services when I board the ship to confirm. I have never had a problem. Please remember though that there aren’t as many private tables on the newer ships. And your private table may be spaced two inches away from other tables. In Marvel, it was genuinely a private table, Coco, not at all, as we were sandwiched inbetween a 4-top and an 8-top, and in 1923, we were basically an 8-top magically separated into two fours. But it all worked out. There is also a better chance of getting a private table if you dine later rather than earlier.
 
The tables are very close. We are awoke of four and basically us and the table of four next to us were Iike 1 inch apart.

You can call, or you can make a request online.

On the DCL website, if you go to My Reservation you will see a box for Special Requests. After selecting that, you can choose Dining and see a menu that includes Private Table.

On the DCL app, after viewing your reservation you can scroll down to below My Online Check-in where there's a section labeled Dining. Click on Keep (unless you want to change your dining time) and keep clicking Next until you get to the Special Requests & Special Services page (the 6th page). Then select Edit.

In this instance, the limitations are a direct result of our commitment to accommodating a diverse group of guest while navigating the challenges of a fully booked voyage. We recognize the importance of a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience, and I assure you that our team will strive to provide you with the highest standard of service within our shared dining arrangement. Should there be any specific requirements or preferences we can assist you with under these circumstances, please do not hesitate to inform us. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. We appreciate your patronage and look forward to serving you. Warm Regards, Your Dining Room Team.
