I still have over a year of planning to do, but it all starts with that first step. I just booked our first cruise! I shall introduce the players in my long awaited game: myself, SAHM of 2, with 1 on the way. Lucky baby, gets to go on first Disney vacay at 6 month. My prince of a hubby, Brian. He is in the Air Force, currently in Iraq for 6 months. He finally caved in, I mean, came around to my side of thinking, when I promised we would seriously look into getting him a boat when our truck is paid off later this year. I get my boat, he gets his is what he said. I have a beautiful princess of a daughter, she turns 6 in about 2 weeks. This is all for her 7th birthday next year. I have a true monkey for a son. He will be 2 on Sunday. Technically, he doesn't have a bday this year, being a leap year baby and all. I made my executive decision to bring my mom along. In house babysitter for vacation, and, she loves the mouse with the best of them! Plus, she did the single mom thing with my sister and me, and deserves it so much. I think she is neck and neck with Hadley for excitement
Our current plans are as follows:
We will head on down to the world on March 6th. I haven't got those plans quite down yet, as the World moves at a slower reservation pace. I am leaning towards a value resort, and the basic dining package. Hadley, my daughter's bday is the day before the cruise departs, so we will do some sort of celebration that day. As of right now, she has no desire to dine with THE princess. Fine by me, saves mom one headache. I am sure by the time we pull out of our driveway in a little over a year, I will have accumulated many of them!
I have us booked with 2 connecting 11A staterooms. I can not wait to board not only our first cruise, but on the DREAM!!! Our cruise date is March 10, 2011. I have already thrown my name on the meets thread, so hope some of you cool folks will be with me! All my daughter cares about is getting on the Aquaduck. She says she won't be scared cause she will be 7 then!
If anyone has a suggested timeline at which I should kinda plan certain things, feel free to let me know. Until then, I will post on here as I have new fun info.

Did I also mention the hubby has already agreed to new clothes for the family for said cruise? Maybe even springing for some for my mom. Hey, we can't look shabby for first impressions with the big cheese!

You are going to have a blast, that's for sure! The Disney Dream will be AMAZING!
As far as I'm concerned, it's never too early to start planning for a Disney trip. There is so much involved! :D
