Our WL ressies begin 6/10, but we'll arrive (and stay at ASMO) the evening of 6/9. We want to check in, eat breakfast and hit the parks as early as possible on the 10th.

Will it be a problem to "check in" around 8 in the morning? I realize our room will likely not be ready, but bell services will hold our stuff and place it in our room once it's ready, right? If so, will they be able to tell us our room assignment or will we have to find out later in the day?

Thanks!

No problem checking in early. Yes, bell services will hold your luggage until your room is ready, however, they will not bring it to your room until you are actually in your room. At least, that's always been our experience...

They will give you your room number and a phone number to call. The phone call will let you know if your room is ready for occupancy, ususally 3:00.... you can go to your room and then call for your luggage.

When we checked in early, we were given our room keys, but not the room number. All we had to do was periodically check in by phone to the front desk. When our room was ready, we were given the room number, and did not have to go back to the front desk for anything! Very convenient!

Thanks for your helpful replies!

On our last trip, our room wasn't ready, so yes, they held our luggage while we hit the parks. They even let us access our luggage (with an attendent, in the storage room) because we needed something for the parks.
