Vero pts for Spring Vacation 2004

I would like to swap my OKW, BCV or BWV for points at Vero, Spring 2004.

Icy-dog probably needs the 11 month window to book what he needs because of spring break, or a Beach Cottage, he can only book at the 7 month window because he doesn't have VB as a home resort.

That's exactly right. I can book in a couple of days for a grand villa at BWV or OKW but I wanted to do a combo trip with the two resorts. I love Vero but DH refuses to even consider more pts since we have so many already. I think the Beach Cottages are unique and beautiful. I haven't ever stayed in a grand villa but my first choice for one would be Vero. We can go at anytime but my son's family can only go when school is out. Hence the need for the points for Spring Break at the 11 month window.

When is school vacation for New Jersey? The week before or after Easter day? I am trying to do the same, however, I may take a chance with the 7 month window. School vacation for Massachusetts is according to Patriot's Day (3rd monday in April). Fortunately, our vacation will start a week after Easter day or April 17th for next year. We were at Vero this year for the week of Easter (April 18 - 25th) and it was full. I checked with the front desk as to whether anything was available for the following week (which would correspond to the same week next year for us) and he had availability for studios, 1 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms.

Your chances are not bad if it is not 7 days before or after Easter day.

I think it is very interesting that you are from MA, that's where my son, dil and grandkids live! I found out that they go on Vacation on the 17th just as you stated. Maybe I am making this too difficult. I think I will make a ressie for OKW or BCV or BWV at the 11 month window and hope for the best for those couple of days in April. I really wanted a Beach House but don't hold out much hope of that. I am glad you saw that may be two bdrms available as they will work, but certainly not as nice as the Cottage. Wouldn't you agree??? I hope Easter is not in that week.
