Vero in late February ?

I'm sure this has been discussed but i can't get the search to work. Does anone have an opinion on Vero in Feb? We are thinking of trying it out for kids next winter break. How are the water temps that time of year? We are New Englander's so have never actually experienced comfotable ocean water If it is too cold to swim, hang out on beach, is there other stuff to do? Kids are 11, 12 and 16. TIA

It is going to make a big difference what part of February.

I can handle 68 degree water, but that's about it. Pool looks pretty good though.

We went to VB in Feb of '06 (Pres. Week). The weather was great! Temps in the upper 70's to 80. It felt hot to us! LOL! The pool was nice and warm. We did go in the ocean but didn't stay in too long, but enjoyed the warm beach. I should note that my girls aren't big ocean swimmers (waves and scary things in the water). I also didn't notice too many in the ocean.
