Who would have thought cream cheese could be magical!
So, we just did 2 nights at Vero for Xmas ( first time at Vero ). It was fantastic!
We had some bagels ready to toast for breakfast, but lacked the cream cheese... I was about to hit Publix but I thought I'd check if the gift shop had a grocery section. It was 5 min till they opened... Here's how magic happens:
Walk up to front desk, ask about gift shop cream cheese... Cast member 1 says the gift shop wouldn't, but the market place might!
Cast member 2 over hears our conversation, and invites me as she shows me the way to the market place. ...walks me to the doors to outside path. There's an early morning shower.
Cast member 3 notices I'm getting directions to marketplace and insists I should not have to walk in the rain... Walks me through sit down restaurant through the back way to the marketplace.
Cast member 4 sees me looking in the coolers, and points me to the individual packages of cream cheese and says "they are complimentary"!!!... I ask if it's ok if I take a few for our party of 5 ... "Of course, take as many as you like' ....
All with smiles and other nice words and gestures.
This all took maybe 3 minutes.... First morning of our stay. Stuff like this .. literally the reason I love staying at Disney resorts.
