Vero Beach Wake up call

Hi Rick,

I didn't realise you posted here Great photos mate. I got myself another camera last week so I'm hoping to get some good ones in November when we go back. Just got to loose a bit of the weight I gained on the cruise so that people don't start throwing water on me and trying to roll me back into the sea when I'm trying to take pictures. LOL

Bah... use it to your advantage like I do. I avoided Physics classes so don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure Sir Issac Newton said something about mass, gravity, and slide racing at the beach (it's worked for me four times running )

Did you use any sort of special filters or anything? They were truly amazing!

We leave in two weeks and for those sites I may actually drag my sorry you know what out of bed in time to see it in all it's glory! DH got me a nice Digital for my birthday so I may try to take some of my own.

No special filters needed. Those colors are as true as if you looked out your window to see the painting He created. I use a Nikon Coolpix 5700. The 10x optical zoom is the key IMHO, but then... I just push the shutter button

Those images aren't once in a lifetime views either... I get similar shots almost every trip. Catching the illumination off the clouds is what I look for... no clouds, the effect just isn't the same.

Let's see if my sony whatever can capture some of the beauty. I think it's got that powerful a zoom. I know it's a nice camera . . . but I just haven't learned all of it's features.
