We are thinking about going to Vero Beach in September. Trying to see the difference between a Studio & Inn Room. It seems according to the Member Book, that both have minor kitchen facilities.
It seems for the same amount of points, we could "guarantee" an ocean view vs. taking a chance with a studio.
Any help would be apprecated. There is only 2 of us, so the amount of beds aren't a concern.

Inn room has two queen beds, studio has one bed and one pul out couch. Depending on how many people, the couch seating area can be a nice advantage.

VB is our DVC home. Last July we had a 1 br in the inn with an ocean view. You have a sm frig, microwave, and sink. For the two of us staying there, it was fine. Go for the ocean view!

Go for the Inn Room Ocean view.Enjoy your stay.:)

I stayed in an Inn room on the 4th floor. Total oceanview. It was really nice . We had two queen beds.

I have never stayed in a Studio, but during our first trip to VB earlier this month, DH and I stayed in an Ocean View Inn Room. I would definitely recommend the Inn. We had a wonderful view of the ocean.

If the ocean view is your main priority, don't take a chance with a studio...reserve an Ocean View Inn Room.

... you said 1br but you describe a studio. Doesn't the Inn only have studios.

We just came from VB. For us,the only reason to stay at the ocean is to see the ocean. If that's what is most important to you, then spend the couple extra points. You won't regret it.

FYI - Inn Rooms are slightly larger than studios. Your statement implied that getting an Inn Room "guarantees" an ocean view. Just so you are aware some Inn Rooms have a "garden view."

The Garden View Inn rooms have lower point cost than do the Ocean View Inn rooms. Ocean View Inn and Studios are the same points. Thus when booking on points, specifying Ocean View Inn room does provide a level of guarantee for the view. You might also request an upper floor.

In February we had a wonderful ocean view studio on the fourth floor of the Inn. We had a King sized bed and the room was huge.

The studios in the other buildings won't have very good ocean view, even if you are on the ocean side of the building since the buildings are only two stories high.

I highly recommend reserving an ocean view room in the Inn. VB is very nice resort and I am sure we will return in the next couple of years.
