we are at vero for the week. Let me say the place looks great with many new upgrades. The rooms are all refurbed with new big television and carpets are new.

But the breakfast situation is sad. No Mickey waffles!!! An absolute disaster for my 13 year old. 1 very very small buffet in the green cabin room. No waffles, pancakes, French toast or bread of any kind (no bagels, toast...). There is also a grab anD go place but really weak food there. It's so bad Disney made the buffet $12.

We love it here so much we can deal with it. We will just drive somewhere I guess. Suggestions anyone for good breakfast places with waffles??????

Well that stinks, we will be there in two weeks! How's the dinner and quick service food?

Also, what are the offerings for the breakfast buffet? Eggs and bacon is that it, lol?

Try the Lemon Tree on Ocean Dr.

The only real place for breakfast during the week is the green cabin. Breakfast is oatmeal, omelets, bacon sausage and potatoes. My hey also had cheese pastry. That was about it. Again $12 but does not include beverages (coffee, tea, milk was extra).

The "grab and go" was really weak. Little boxes of cereals, granola bars and fruit and some drinks and that's about it.

At lunch you have the green cabin and the place by the pool.

We went to Dunkin Donuts two mornings, Patisserie two mornings and bought Public muffins one morning during our stay last week. The on properly breakfast offerings aren't great right now.

There is a breakfast place in Sebastian on US-1 called the Country Ham and Egg, or something very similar. It is about 10 minutes drive from the resort. Decent place with reasonable prices.
