Vero Beach in Nov-or HH

Hi Guys,

I'm currently on a waitlist for July for VB, but thinking it may not happen. I do have a long weekend vacation in Nov.. first weekend. Are their plenty of kids activities in Nov at either location?

What about the pool..do people swim in the pools in Nov?

Hello Susan,

Welcome to the DISboards. Both locations will have plenty of activities. Both will have people swimming in the pools, though HHI will likely be more younger ones with cooler air temps. VB will still be in full swing with ocean activities too. I think November is my favorite month for VB.

We were at VB last Nov. and are going again this year. We had great weather, but it did get chilly at night . We will be there the 1st week in Nov., too. It's our teacher convention week.

Don't you know.....planning the DVC trips is part of the magic you get with owning DVC!! Yes, we all know we are OCP's (obsessive, compulsive, planners!)

We go to HH every October for a week. In the years that we have gone late in October we've found that the weather is more "iffy", with some very cool days. Also, if you plan HH, check to see when / if they will have the beach house and / or pool closed for refurbishment. October and early November, before Thanksgiving, seem to be low season times and we've twice found one of the pools closed.

We stayed at VB during the second week of November last year. Some of the Christmas decorations were up.

A lot of activity in the pool with a somewhat less activity in the ocean. Although, if you like to lie in the sun on the beach , the weather was gorgeous - High 70's and not a cloud in the sky.
