Hi.

Attention Vero Beach People!

Is Vero Beach a warm place to visit during President's Week? (mid-February) We'd like to visit at that time but are concerned that we'll freeze. Typically, is swimming OK that time of year? We have two young children. We usually go to the Caribbean that time of year and worry about such intense sun and heat that a more moderate climate at that time of year might just be what we're looking for.

I posted a similar if not identical question last week but was hoping for a little more feedback. Thanks.

We have gone as early as March 6. We had a wonderful time and the weather was great. Of course, there are no guarantees but we thought it was just perfect. Not too cold or too hot.

Isn't President's week just a few weeks before that?

I would say go for it. If you do run into some colder than usual weather you will still have plenty to do.

our family has gone to vero every presidents' week for the last few years, and always had delightful weather. it's been generally clear and sunny, typically in the mid to upper seventies. the ocean might be a bit cool, but the pool is just fine. you might run into some rain, but usually only for a few hours; even then the temperature will be a lot better than it is back home (that is, if you live in the northeast or midwest!)
