We will be at VBR end of October/beginning of November, and will be there for Halloween. Does anyone know if they do anything for Halloween at Vero?

Also, staying in a studio for the first time; hoping we survive the week.

We stayed in an OVIR June 22-24 and it was amazing. We were in room 2221. Renovated, close to the lobby and a great ocean view. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about VB.

Yes, the restaurant area is all closed down.

Looking to add a few days at Vero after our AKV stay next June. What is availability like 7 months out for the month of June?

We were at Vero into the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend this year, reserved 1BR at 7 months exactly at 8am and didn't have a problem. This spring/summer imo is harder as the renovations are in process. With that being said, obviously the later into June you go, more schools are out and thus "prime time vacation" season throughout the summer. If you arent' successful have an alternate plan available, book that, then go on waiting list exactly at 7 months! ENJOY, a beautiful resort and the villas will be presumably done by next June, thus renovated villas, a real plus!

Yes, tranquil! Tom says he hops that's what we experience in the East bound Transatlantic next May!

We spent 7 days in WDW before arriving here last night. We need these relaxing days.

Yes, the restaurant area is all closed down.

Bleachers is still open (if you consider that a restaurant). I thought I had read it was going down too, but it was open earlier this week.

Shutters and Sonya's are closed. They have dinner and saturday breakfast in the sea grape room. Food is also available at the Green Cabin Room and Bleachers. There's also a grab and go continental breakfast in the mornings at the spa area.

Gorgeous! We will be there in less than a month! With a visit to WDW Saratoga Springs before VB!

We ate lunch at Captain Hiram's. Tom enjoys their crab cakes a lot!! I had shrimp and grits. I enjoyed the shrimp, grits and tomato sauce with veggies like peppers and onions, I could live without the andouille sausage, so I ate around that!

Does anyone have an estimate on when the restaurants will open back up and what area of rooms will be remodeled next? Heading there in September and trying to guess what to expect. Thanks!

Will the inn renovation be done soon? The alert talks of work being done July 2016 then villa work in the fall. We are planning a trip late August in the inn and hoping it will be complete. And what is update on algae? My thirty day to cancel will be here next week.
