Our dates are finally set.
We will be in an Ocean View Inn room April 19-21
And switch to a 1-bedroom April 21-25
Thinking of doing the Culinary Magic event on Tuesday April 21st if they have it.

Just wanted to add- I'll be there July 19-23- first time there. Booked late so I only got a garden room, but I already booked my Monday night pirate character dinner at shutters. It's also linked with my MDE acct and I can see it in there, change the names of guests, etc- just like a Disney world dining reservation.

I read on another site that construction is/was affecting the pool bar and they weren't offering fountain drinks, ice cream etc. Only serving a limited menu. This post was from Feb 10th, so I'm wondering if it is still like this. We will be down on the 22nd and the refillable mugs are handy by the pool.

Arriving April 4-9th. We are staying April 3rd at the Hilton head resort. So excited for warm weather & no more snow!

We booked a 1 bedroom villa for 10/6-10/14. Can't wait. We stayed in November for an overnight before going to the World and I fell in love with the resort - so peaceful and relaxing. The fact my most difficult vacation decisions will revolve around do I beach or pool today is glorious!

I am here at Vero. We were fortunate to book a three bedroom cottage this year and it has been lovely. The Wabasso Beach Park is still filled with trucks for the beach refurbishment but the beach around Disney has already been completed. I only heard the faint sounds of trucks this afternoon so I am happy. This is our fifth or sixth visit. I was surprised to see a number of man-o-war on the beach. I saw about five yesterday but more than a dozen this evening. To be fair, I think they are more common at night. They are a deep bluish color and easy to spot. I noticed a few people have dug sand circles around them as a warning to others. Still, there are no warning flags or signs and so we swam in the ocean all day anyway.
I will try to post some photos here in the next couple of days.

I'm really excited, my DH and I will be checking into an Ocean View Inn Room on May 1st and staying till the 5th. This will be our first trip to Vero Beach. Any suggestions on restaurants in the area and local attractions will be great. We are really looking forward to our trip.

I was at Disney Vero Beach from 3/9-3/14 (left yesterday). The pool and Bleachers are open and fountain drinks are available. The menu seemed like the usual fare with breakfast in the morning and burgers etc for lunch. The construction seems to be rehab including painting of the trim and is currently located on the side of the building facing the ocean near the Croquet Lawn. I am attaching photos.
