We just returned from a 10-day trip to Vero Beach and the Beach Club Villas.
We had a great time - 80's everyday and sunny. We found a great Italian place
to eat at Vero called Monte's Italian Restaurant. It's located on Ocean Drive. The
selection was excellent, the servings were huge and tasty, and the cost reasonable.
We also attended a play "Anything Goes" at the Riverside Theater which was very good.
Then we moved onto the Beach Club Villas. We were there last November and saw
the alligator several times. However this time no sightings.
Does anyone know what happened to the alligator in the canal at the BCV ?
The highlight of this part of the trip was the Annual Passholder event at MGM.
After hours AP holders could ride Tower of Terror and Rock n' Roller Coaster
as much as you wanted for 2 hours. Plus there was a DJ in the Beauty and the Beast
theater. We went on Friday, March 14th and I would say there were no more than 300
in attendance. It was alot of fun.
Next on to Hilton Head in the fall.
