Vera Bradley

I have a suggestion on what not to use--- I have the Backpack, the old version and the smaller one of the two. It was ok but the straps were pretty thin so when I wore a tank top it dug into my armpits and kind of hurt.

Just wanted to show what all I had in the bag when it was fully zipped closed so you could get an idea of how much it can hold. I usually have a few other things in there too...I just didn't have them accessible tonight to add in for the shoot!

IMG_2418.jpg

Just wanted to show the size difference between the Wristlet (Left) Lizzy (Center) and Little Hip Bag (Right). Also, I tend to use my Zip ID case (bottom) for KTTW/Tickets/Photopass. It fits in the back wallet section.

Sorry for the picture quality. I was using my iPhone to snap pics instead of my real camera (it's in the bag!) in hopes of getting the post up sooner.

My camera is about that size. I just tried it in the Lizzy and it does fit in the main compartment, lens down, and I can zip it, just. There is not room for much else in the main compartment. The Lizzy doesn't really even hold a full size wallet, which I thought would bother me at first, but now I love having the wallet built into the purse (that's in an outer zip pocket though). So I'm surprised it fits my camera, I really didn't think it would. So if the camera is in there, you won't be able to put sunglasses in too. It's that small.

Thanks! I'm thinking the Hipster might be the way to go. I like to have some extra room for whatever...sunglasses, something small purchased, umbrella or poncho...etc.

Though with all those great pics above, I might get it for an everyday bag!

Where are the magnetic closures in the Lizzy?

Yes! Thanks for posting pics. I don't have a Lizzy, might go get one next!

:thumbsup2 perfect size comparison!

mom2aJessieGirl - im eagerly awaiting my shipment of the Little Hip Bag picked the same pattern (or least color, hard to keep up with them all). Really ike the idea of the removeable strap. I plan to stick it in my messenger bag on the way down & the key fob on the front, but wondering if it has compartments or a zipper/some sort of snap (hope so) to hold the flap down.

The Little Hip Bag has a zipper that completely closes the bag. The Flap is just decorative then. It also has a large belt loop on the back side. This is actually my DD5's bag that I have drafted into service! :rotfl2: She loves to use it for her Ninetendo DS and iPod Touch when we are traveling.

The Vera site needs help.

So the Little Hip has no magnets.
But the Lizzy has one.
(I wonder if I can cut it out & put in a snap?)

I had a bad experience w/ our APs demagnatizing & missung am EMH twice! It was my purse magnet, DH kept the tix the rest of the trip w/no probs

I love the regular Hipster. I have three different bags. They are just perfect for me!

Wow the Lizzy is the perfect size!! I feel like the strap is long enough to do it across the body as well. I read on some of the reviews for the hipster bag that the closure that hooks and unhook breaks really easily. :confused3

The Lizzy has a long, adjustable strap, it should be no problem wearing it cross-body.

I had the same problem with my Bagallini.......which is why I am looking for a new park bag too. It did not matter how far away from the magnet I put them.

I've used my Baggalini messenger for 3 trips now and never had a problem with the magnet. I do put our park tickets, KTTW cards and photopass card all in a separate little waterproof holder (the ones you get at the wp's). Maybe that is what has been protecting them. I like to keep them in there so they are all together and also protected from the water rides. I love Vera Bradley but really like the Baggalini for the parks since it is water resistant and when it does get wet it dries quickly. It also holds a lot and has a lot of separate handy compartments. I use the messenger but rarely wear it across my body. I usually just use it with the one strap over my shoulder. Ebags has some good prices and sales.

The Vera site is awful. Not user friendly at all!

The Little Hip DOES have a magnet on the flap. See?

This is how I wear it most of the time. It even extends a bit longer.

I also wear it this way...
