I wanted a new bag to take on our upcoming Sept trip... was leaning towards the Hipster but felt like it would be too big (this is an adults-only trip, so I don't think I'll need to carry as much as I would if the kids were going with me!)

The Mini Hipster is way too small... so I went with the new Rachel bag. I think it will work perfectly!

That's really cute worn as a belt! I hadn't thought of that. It would be a quick change to set it that way for certain rides.

The Little Hip Bag has a zipper that completely closes the bag. The Flap is just decorative then. It also has a large belt loop on the back side. This is actually my DD5's bag that I have drafted into service! She loves to use it for her Ninetendo DS and iPod Touch when we are traveling.

It is small, but perfect for me to hold just the essentials i need. Seems the more we visit & the older my kids get, the less 'stuff' i really need to lug every day.

The strap does come completely off. I took your hint & was able to fit my ipod touch, flip camera, cell phone & small vera zip id case easily, then the whole thing fit with room to spare in my hipster.

It will be so easy to prepack it in my messenger bag, then pull it out when we hit the parks this summer, any less fumbling upon arrival is a good thing

must say after seeing the lizzy i may have to order that next paydayto add to my collection.

Just FYI - if you'e in WDW and your current bag just isn't working out, they do sell Vera Bradley in Lamont's inside The Dolphin. They have TONS of it, and they did have the Lizzy there on Monday when I checked. They had a few pieces in Paprika on clearance too.
