So I got the email that the new patterns are out 7/8. Do they usually then put more of the older colors on sale soon after? I've been eyeing a Night and Day large hobo on ebay but am thinking it may go on sale at VB soon. What have you guys experienced in the past?

Popular patterns do not retire within one season. Night and Day is very new and very popular so I doubt if it will be marked down when the new patterns come out soon.

If you have your heart set on a newer pattern but want to get it on sale you should buy a retired style. You get a new pattern on sale.

I see you are from NY if by any chance you are planning a trip to Mass there is a Vera Bradley outlet in Wrentham.

They have ALL the patterns including the newest ones at discount prices. They just opened two weeks ago and I was there before the opening (they had a soft opening starting the sat before but the official opening was on Monday).

worth a trip if you want to do some shopping in advance for the holidays.

they don't have all the new patterns in all the styles on sale only the styles that are retiring. You can go to VB website and see those patterns online. You can also call the store and order over the phone and they can ship stuff to you.
