Another thing when the characters leave do go back stage why do people follow them, thinking they will stop for a picture?
I've often wondered that too! :confused3

but the thing that I noticed most was the Character Photo points. It was akin to seeing a Rugby scrum with Parents pushing their way in regardless of those who were queuing in an orderly manner.
Oh dear, was it even bad at those? :confused3 After expecting the worst, we were very impressed at how everyone was queuing so nicely at the official photospots on both our visits. The only time we saw someone try to push in to see Stitch last summer he was made to go to the back of the queue by the CM. I wish they were as strict as this all the time.

I have to be honest and say I prefer to pay for the character meals for interaction without the barging and pushing, it is a pity though that there isn't more variety in the characters, or perhaps if the meals were advertised with corresponding characters. I've lost track of the amount of times we've seen Chip n Dale and Gepetto for instance but only seen Winnie the Pooh once and I've said it before I'll say it again when are they going to introduce a Princess Meal ? I always feel especially sorry for those parents with little girls, the queues for the prince/princesses are always horrendous, luckily for me not something my boys were interested in, but I could imagine those queues can get quite nasty. :rolleyes1

Even at character meals they do it too!

At Cafe Mickey in March one evening for My Husbands birthday we were enjoying our meal and waiting for the characters, when Mickey came out. By this time we had worked out what route they were taking around the tables. Mickey was at the table behind us and there was a large Spanish family 4-6 adults and many children. Suddenly the children doubled in number and were all pushing their autograph books in his face! Mickey indicated to the woman asking how many of them we with her, she pointed them out and he told her to tell the rest to sit down! When she said "Mickey says sit down" and he nodded they all went away!

In WDW they mainly have structured lines for Characters or a good CM to control the lines, some pushy kids still get through but its better. Also when you go to a character meal in WDW they tell you to wait for the characters to come to you, do not get up to them. If they miss you out (as piglet did to us) ask your server and they will try to bring them back!

I have found that many other Europeans do not que (not saying all) where as most brits will que when we don't know what is at the end :rotfl2:

Anyone tries to push me out of the way in a queue and all they'll get is a growl and a sharp pointy elbow in their ribs.

as for buggies/pushchairs...gaaahhh! If I happen to have bare ankles at the parks, they're all scraped and cut by the end of the day due to some 'lovely' people using the buggies/pushchairs as weapons. But not just at DLP. WDW sometimes has the same problem.
After watching Cinderellabration (or something, I can't quite remember) everyone was going off in different directions..but slowly and I suddenly feel something hit my leg so i look round and there's this crazed woman pushing a WDW buggy (with a child who looked too old to be pushed around in a buggy) blatantly shoving this weapon against my legs even though I was watching her :rotfl: The child was all "Mommy your hitting a girl" and she didn't even care! :rotfl: i turned round and smiled "Look I'd rather you didn't try to break my legs with that buggy."
I can say that she looked a bit shocked about being told off by a 14-year old. It'd normally be the other way around :rotfl:

Ahh well, hope your holiday gets better! :wizard:

For the Princesses spot we try to get there early and visit just a couple of them. This worked well as you can see
