Vent of the Day!

I gave my e-mail address to my neighbor to keep me informed about the proposed ash dump they want to put here in town, so we have had several e-mails back and forth amongst the group about signs, litigation, State Senate hearings etc.

Today I get spam mail, we all get it. 40+ people getting crap about woe is me, my kid is sick, AOL is tracking this, every e-mail sent X amount of dollars goes to said kid. I have gotten it before and never ever send it on. This thing had been forwarded no less than 20 times, I had to scroll forever to get to the bottom.

Why do people assume I want their crap mail???

So I send an e-mail back to the entire group requesting that my e-mail addy be deleted from all of their address books. I said I don't appreciate getting spam when my email was intended for town business only. Let's see how many nasty grams I get back.


Why do people do this??? MY friend sends me stupid texts all the time too. Drives me nuts and costs me $$$!

Ugh! Sorry!!!

I get these every day from a friend in regards to the campaign... I've got her emails now filter.. if it says anything about McCain/Obama/Campaign or join me... it goes to spam..and luckily we set our account to deleted spam daily..

but yes, that is very annoyings..

Now don't get mad at me when I send you texts and they make no sense.. I'm still learning.. DH is suppose to get the messaging going tomorrow..

That would drive me crazy too. I can't stand those emails you get saying some horrid virus is coming and forward this email on to everyone you know. No, that is almost as problematic as the virus. Delete.

DH yelled at his family to get them to stop at least. Plus, he would spam them all back with the Snopes articles about how they aren't even real.

I get these kinds of things too from a really good friend. She uses her work email, says "sorry, but I hope this works", and sends. I would lose my job if I did that, but I guess her company is different.

It take me 4 hours to type the joke..and besides that... I don't know any jokes.. I'm a loser!
