I purchased a Vehicle Service Contract when I purchased my new car several years ago. The service contract is still in effect (~30,000 miles/~2 years remaining on the contract).

I assume if the car requires a repair that is covered under the Vehicle Service Contract the repair doesn't have to be done at the dealership where I bought the car (or any dealership) but can be done at any licensed car repair facility. Is that correct?

TIA!
Debbie

You can't assume that. You have to read the paperwork that spells out the terms and conditions of the Vehicle Service Contract. If you read it and can't understand it, then call the customer service number and find out. It would be really awful for you to get a repair somewhere and later find out that it isn't covered because you had it done at the wrong garage.
