Vegetarians at the buffet meals

Hope someone can help - we are looking to prebook our meals for our Christmas trip - since we went to DLRP, DD has become a vegetarian and we are struggling with the buffet meals menus as they don't give much detail. Very interested in Lucky Nugget - been before but can't rememeber what the veggie choices were, as wasn't relevant to us last time - do they have any meat in the pasta and pizza's? Also considering Rendevous de Stars and Agrabah. Can you help as we need to book our meals this weekend as we've left it a little late.

inventions cater for vegetarians, they had salads, cheese, risotos, rice, pasta dishes, omlettes, pizza, potato smiles, some nice vegetables mashed and new potatoes, and vegetale lasagne

the restaurant in the cheyenne also had things like risotos, jacket potatoes, salads and chips but not much in the way of hot food for vegetarians

The one in the studios (cant remember the name but the ratatouille themed one) had similar sort of things, pizza, risotos, rice etc

Restaurant des Stars and La Cantina at the Santa Fe this week both had courgette gratin and ratatouille, as well as rices/salads/plain pastas on their menus. La Cantina also had plain pizza (I didn't notice this at restaurant des stars, but might have just missed seeing it).

The Cantina is a good option - we are staying at the Santa Fe. The Agrabah would be good for us - but DD (the veggie) is a pasta and pizza sort of girl and won't entertain no 'funny food' - like coucous and even vegetables!

It is our Christmas Day meal we are struggling with Lucky Nugget was a good option for us in 2006 when we were all carnivores especially as they had the Christmas band playing carols but I have read that they have chips and salad for veggies and that's all. Will there be any Christmas theme in Cafe Mickey or Rendevous?

My husband is the fussiest vegetarian I know! He is trully a moaner when it comes to food and being a veggie is always difficult.
I would say avoid Lucky Nugget. Apart from it being awful for non veggies (we have been twice now and both times were the same- should have learned our lesson first time around) its not good for veggies. There's Chips and Salad and Bread. There was one "vegetarian" dish but it had fish in it!

We LOVED Rendevous Des Stars. Pizza, Pasta- lovely deserts (incl pancakes) Sorted! Hubby enjoyed it! We've been a few times and it was consistently good. Havent a clue about Christmas theming tho sorry.

Inventions was excellent too- no complaints there whatsoever. Again, cant comment on Christmas Theming but bet it will be gorgeous!

Walts was very good. Hubby had the pasta and he said it was very probably the best vegetarian food he ever had! I can tell you thats is a huge compliment coming from him. Again, I can imagine it will be lovely at Christmas

Cafe Mickey has pizza. We loved the restaurant and Character interaction, but hubby said his Pizza was "below average" but would go again just for the atmosphere.

not a buffet meal but i expect it would be lovely for xmas day especially for dd is auburge. they had a vegetarian dish on their main and the childrens starters contained no meat

DD is vegetarian and she found loads to eat at Rendezvous des Stars - great food there the courgette gratin is amazing

I can't help with the others, we haven't been to any of them since she became veggie!

Hi, we are not veggies but love veggie food and would highly reccomend the agrabah cafe, they had veg lasagne and mossaka, houmous, cous cous, lentils, salads, pasta, potatoes, tzaziki and im sure veg tagine. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is lovely and our favorite. Ive heard that restaurant des star has good veg food, but i remember the lucky nugget not having much choice as it was mainly tex mex. Cafe mickey also has good veg option if looking for a table service meal, with veg terrine, tomato soup, garlic mushrooms and garlic bread for starters, pinnochio pasta, veg pizza and a veg canneloni for mains and you get all the characters. Have a great time

Hi, we are a family of six vegetarians and ate at DLRP at the beginning of November.

All table service restaurants offer at least one vegetarian meal and all the buffets have vegetarian items. We find the best thing to do is to speak to the chef and ask EXACTLY what is veggie as fish is considered part of a veggie dish.

Buffet wise, the best by far is Agrabah; lots of veggie choice, next up is Inventions and last (for us) was the Lucky Nugget, however, in all fairness the chef at LN went out of his way and personally cooked us a large veggie pizza and brought it to our table. The chef at Inventions also offered to cook us some extra dishes, but there was no need as there was plenty to eat.

For non buffet, you will be looking at mostly pasta, ravioli or pizza. In Auberge we were given a delicious vegetable pie.

In the village, Annettes are good for veggies, as is Cafe Mickey (Pizza/Pasta), however, Planet Hollywood had no veggie meals when we checked.
