Where would be the best place to find info about Vegas. We have never been there so know nothing about what areas to stay, Things to do, etc.

I particularly recommend more midstrip. There is a TON to see on the strip & it is several miles long. If you stay more midstrip you can wander north one day, south another.
Hotel rooms are CHEAP in Vegas compared to the rest of the country, especially downtown or offstrip. But the strip is where the action is, so I REALLY do recommend staying there.
I do recommend a day trip downtown by bus (cheap) or cab (fast). It is a cool old school Vegas area where everything is cheaper--but there is little else to do but gamble (NOT that it is a bad thing...)
I recommend buying an American Casino Guide ($25 for 2 on Amazon w/ f/s--then you each have one). Great bunch of coupons for food/entertainment/gambling. (complete list at www.americancasinoguide.com). The $25 free play at Venetian (EACH!) more than pays for the books.
Any questions, just ask!!!
(PS be sure to check out the sites I listed earlier--they are my lifeline for getting the most for my money!)

I have gotten lots of advice from another message board site that is strictly Vegas: vegasmessageboard.com

I "ditto" pumpkin fish. I belong to this board and have been to Vegas many times and still I find new things on that board. HTHs!

There is so much to do, will take some planning to get it all in.
