VDH (Villas at Disneyland Hotel) DVC View From The Room Thread

Here we have Duo Preferred. It’s a winner. Everything looks a bit closer in person than in camera.View attachment 984072View attachment 984073View attachment 984074View attachment 984075
Thanks for sharing Wedge.

My wife and I also enjoyed our time in the Duo. Definitely prefer more space in a regular studio but when it's just us two the Duo cannot be beat for the low point requirement.

We squeezed out a trip last year for four nights Had some straggler points that allowed us for three nights in a studio or 4 nights in a Duo.

Anyone stay in a semi decent standard resort view? I cant find any goodies 🤣🤣
I checked my phone and I didnt take a photo. It was a view of what I think is the CM building, and big AC unit, major power lines and to make it extra special cell antenna attached to the power lines.

I looked thru the photos of people's rooms and couldnt find one I cared to request 🤣🤣

#1113 Deluxe Studio Preferred View

This was a free upgrade from a standard view deluxe studio so we were happy! For preferred view points I much prefer the Monorail Pool side but having any kind of view was a nice surprise since we booked (sub)standard view

(just corrected the room number, thanks @Wedgeout for catching that!)

Awesome view. They say when clear can see out to Catalina Island. Please double check the posted room number. 11th floor there is at 1115 1113 range. Not sure there is a 1136 in that stack this high.

Did you ask if there was a chance they could upgrade or they just did it?
I had to go back in my memory because this was from February, so I had booked a wheelchair accessible room since that was all that was available. The hotel called me the morning of check-in day and asked if I needed the accessibility and I told them no so they said they would try to get me into the first available room. And voila, free upgrade!

That's awesome congrats! With my luck they would keep me in that room so best not to for me 🤣
