We just returned from a VB/BWV trip and had requested connecting rooms at VB, not just adjoining rooms, since we are traveling with an infant and needed two rooms. VB rooms 2229 & 2230 were great!
2230 was a regular room but 2229 was a corner room with a large entry area that had a couch, a side chair, an end table, and a coffee table. We tried to figure out how to move the bedroom TV to the extra sitting area but never did get it done. The extra space was wonderful for getting the baby settled down and we even used it as the "nursery" area. The kitchenette was also in that area, which gave the bedroom area more space. While the balconey did not directly face the ocean, 2229 had large windows all along the ocean side. The two rooms connected in the sitting area of the larger room, which also gave more privacy for the bedroom.
I have a question for the VB regulars who use Inn room instead of the villas. How do you keep the rooms clean with the sand that comes in with the kiddies but no vacuum? I really missed the vacuum and the washer/dryer with all that sand. We were only there 3 nights, so it didn't get bad enough for me to request a special clean-up but it was certainly different from a WDW resort stay/beach sand. The kid's bathroom floor was horrid on the first day!
Thanks for all the info in the past few months that helped me prepare for our first VB trip.
