VB in July?

We tried to get a 2 bedroom at VB for this July, any week, at the 7 month window, with no luck. Went to HH instead, which is fine with us, we love it there.
Are there not many 2 bedrooms at VB? Or is that just a high demand time for that resort?
We're discussing an add-on there strictly for that reason. We need to schedule vacations during school breaks for quite a while yet with our youngest being 9 years old.
I was looking at enough points to get a 1 bedroom every other year there, but DH says to get enough for a 2 bedroom since we like to take friends/family with us.
Is it typically that hard to get a 2 bedroom at VB during the summer at the 7 month window?

We had almost the same problem booking a 1BR the 1st week in July. We wanted a 1BR for 6 days....only could get 4 days, had to book a studio and waitlist for the other 2 days. We did this at the 7 month window. The waitlist never came through for us, so we decided to just stay 4 days at VB and move on up to OKW for 3 days in a 1BR. Thats one of the main reasons we bought at VB to get the 11 month window, and for the Beach Cottages.

Thanks, ncligs! I spoke with our guide this afternoon and got the ball rolling for a VB add-on. Hopefully, this will be enough points for us, at least for another few months.
