VB Beach House 7 mos.- May vs. June

I think getting a VB beach house in June might be asking for a miracle. Does anyone know if it is any easier say towards the end of May? Or possibly beginning of Sept?

Definitely Sept will be the easiest! All schools are in session and it's hurricane season.

I would think that from Memorial Day through first half of June would be similar popularity wise (Southern schools and colleges out) then slightly increasing for mid July - early Aug (All schools out) and then decreasing for most of Aug (as the southern schools go back and hurricanes come).

I really don't know the availability of the cottages. We always have to/want to go during school breaks so know that the availability will be really difficult.

I doubt you will be able to get a cottage at 7 months. For sure not in June. You might in Sept but it would have to be after Labor Day. I am not even sure of that, though. There are only 6 of them and at 11 months, it isn't always possible. Good Luck

We were at VB last in June 05. I had booked 3 nights at 11 months and was able to add a fourth night at 7 months--I was really worried about it though and was delighted when it worked out. Good luck to you
