That's really the primary reason I have abandoned (mostly) my interest in owning at BLT. If you're ok with preferred views, especially 1 BRs, you don't really need to own there. Of course, the resort view rooms are pretty good bargain there, but there are so few of them, and so you have to be pretty on your game even during the 7-11 month window.

The saying shouldn't be "buy where you want to stay". It should be "buy where there's a tough-to-get value that you like". Once you get corrupted by one bedroom villas, you can stay just about anywhere.
