Can you buy them at the parks or the ID area?

They aren't sold in Britain anymore :sad2:

Thanks

ID? i presume they are available in the parks somewhere. i never really look for it, but i did note it was a POFQ soft drink fountain.

Any of the local gas stations or convenient stores have it.

You can order on at Beaches and Cream

I've never seen it at the parks, but last I checked they had it at the soda fountain at Port Orleans Riverside.

They don't even seem to carry Vanilla Coke in gas stations much anymore...

I sure hope they do at FQ again in January. I've not been able to find straight vanilla coke here for ages, and lately can't even get the black-cherry vanilla.

I read a while back that the vanilla was being phased out, but don't remember when that was. Bad move on coke's part, IMO.

Yes, so sad :(
I was told the same thing about Coke doing away with Vanilla Coke

Gosh, that would be great if you could get it at Disney! We can now find it in 20oz bottles at our gas station, but thats the only size I've seen them in so far.

Actually its funny cause I haven't had vanilla coke in a while. I loved the idea but felt it was too diluted in execution. Still, if given the choice between that and regular coke, I'd go for the vanilla.

Anyway, i was watching tv two nights ago and i saw a commercial that vanilla coke was making a bit of a comeback. They didnt say that it had been outright phased out, just made it a point to kinda re-introduce/re-hype it. I hadnt seen a vanilla coke commercial in ages so I made note.

So maybe its nationwide distribution (especially for Florida) will pick up again :)

How about bringing a bottle of vanilla extract with you? I just add a few drops into my soda when I want that yummy vanilla smell and taste!

They sell small plastic bottles of it at our local grocery store.

I work in a grocery store and we just started getting 12 packs of Vanilla Coke again. We don't have the 20 oz bottles yet but they have not done away with Vanilla coke! We have it back after not having it anywhere for almost a year.

Thanks folks! Hopefully I can try it again.

Schmeck, great tip regarding vanilla extract, thanks. I will try this :yay:

It's actually fun to research the history of various soft drinks and whatnot. You could even give yourself a new addiction. When I researched TaB, I fell in love with it, and now I have to travel a couple hours to buy it, since it isn't available in a lot of markets. ha-ha.

The history of products in this country is really a treat. I'm glad vanilla coke may be doing better! I don't ever want to see products discontinued.

Funny - I was recently at a truck show where a Coke truck and vendors were there giving away free cans to sample. My MIL noticed they had the Vanilla Coke and mentioned she thought they got rid of it. It turns out, according to them, that the Black Cherry Vanilla is being phased out and Vanilla Coke is coming back. Funny this topic came up considering I just heard this last weekend.

YAY! I had to make an unplanned trip to the supermarket today and they had 12pks of vanilla coke cans. Yay! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I heard on the hungrygirl.com website that they are making vanilla coke zero soon.

FWIW, I was at a Hannafords in NH today when I saw the Vanilla Coke and they also had the Vanilla Zero.

Hmm... interesting. But I do think this is a good move. The Black Cherry Vanilla was never one of my favorites, and I prefer the regular Vanilla to it. It's just that none of the stores around here seem to carry it...
