Vanessa- figmentfan814 ~ Happily Ever Wedding & 10th Anniversary VR Brunch #1 Added 8-10

That's like 5 minutes from our place :thumbsup2 Grand Rapids is such a great place to live too. I go over there several times a year for conferences and love the downtown and the Meijer Gardens.

Awesome! We actually got into a car accident going there once! I was 7 or so at the time, so we were going to Kid's Night, and it was our first time ever making it to Kid's Night, so we were like "Kid's Night! Kid's Night! Kid's Night! *CRASH* Kid's Night?" There was no damage other than some chipped point, so we did make it!

I love the gardens, too. We almost went last weekend, but went to the park instead. Much cheaper! But we want to bring DS while they have the butterflies. They're so much fun!

Whoops! I just edited it a few days ago and put the wrong year. Thanks for telling me, cause I didn't even notice;) We were married in 2007. Thanks again!
Anna Marie

No worries. I was just very confused, which is not hard to do. Do you have a TR anywhere? I love weddings. I have been married for 11 1/2 years but we plan on doing a VR at WDW for our 25th. Never too early to start planning right.;)

Hi Laura, I found out about them through an email from Get Married. This is the site that I used to order them, but there are a lot of places that have them. This site was pretty reasonable on the labels that go on them.

Thanks. Those are so cute.

and sat down to relax for a few minutes. It was the first time I had been alone in 3 days and it felt great!!

Isn't nice to do that every once in awhile. And you got to people watch in WDW, where better to do that at

After about 30 minutes Sean got a call from his wife, she needed a break from the kids (ages 4, 2, and 5 months) so he headed out of the park.

I totally can understand that. My kids are 9, 6 and 2 right now. We brought the two older one to WDW when they were 5 and almost 2. Very hard with all the meltdowns but all in all we had a lot of fun and my older DS remembers some of the trip:banana:

We then went to see the quiz show, "Stump the Schwab." I'm not an ESPN fan, but I love to do anything new and different. There were a ton of ESPN personalities, so it was a cool experience. It was in the area for the Drew Carrey sound stage.

My DH watches this show every once in awhile. Do you know if they always tape there or was this a special thing.

I don't know how many of you have been to this restaurant before, but it is a lot of fun. Our waitress gave us homework assignments dealing with geography and we had to clean our plates

I have never been there, do you think kids would like it? They will be 10, 8 and 4 when we go next year. Just thinking of ADR's to make when the time comes. Yes I plan way to far in advance but that's what keeps me from going crazy;)

I know I mentioned it in my PJ, but our minister was from Jacksonville. He was actually our pastor in Michigan for almost 5 years before he moved to Florida. We got in touch with him about coming to Disney for the wedding and he agreed :yay: It was so nice to have someone that we knew and felt comfortable for our big day. We met and talked to his wife for about 30 minutes. We went back over some of the different worksheets we had filled out for our pre-marital counseling and prayed together. It was nice to share that time with them and we both felt a lot more relaxed once we left the meeting.

That's so nice.

On our way out of the food court we ran into a bunch of our guests who were snacking. My one aunt wanted to know where the leftover groom's cake was, so I sent them towards my parents’ rooms with forks.

:lmao:

Kris and I decided it was definitely time to get a little more practicing in, so we grabbed our CD out of my room and went into the parking lot. We rolled down the windows and played the music. We got some strange looks from people walking from the bus stop, but we didn't care :laughing: I wish we would have had someone take our picture.[/QUOTE}

That's so sweet

Randy sent our CDs early because I needed some things to print for our at-home reception. They are supposed to be online by Monday. I loved each and every one of them; it was so beautiful on the World Showcase.

Oh I can't wait.

Ok, so how is it that you tell us that you got the pics and you even tell us how beautiful they are, but you don't even give us a teaser picture in your signature? Bad, bad girl Vanessa! Ok, I'm done scolding now. I totally agree with you on the group reservations. All of the group events we had planned at our DFTW were so much fun. Our guests still talk about it to this day and we agree it is something we will never forget. I'm waiting patiently for a pic. here;)

I will be starting a TR shortly. I'm even going to do a PJ if that makes sense this far past the wedding:rolleyes1 I just got a new job and with it a bit more free time, so I have time to devote to a report now. Vanessa is in the process of teaching me how to post my pictures correctly...then I'll get started. I would be very glad if you would join us when I do. Thanks for the interest!

Absolutely I will join you, keep me posted.

This weekend we discovered that someone we know is tracking us on the Internet. I considered not putting up pictures of our wedding day because I know they are just trying to find out about it (even though they chose not to be a part of it), but I didn't think it would be fair to all of you wonderful women. I will still be finishing my report in this public forum.

I know previous brides TR were such a great help to me, so I hope I can serve as similar inspiration for other brides. I just wanted to make this posting, so that person knows I am aware that they are lurking. No need for replies to this post, it is only directed towards a certain individual. Sorry for the air of paranoia, I know this is kind of off the wall.

I think despite the headaches for parents, kids do really enjoy the parks at a younger age. I remember my first trip to Disneyland from when I was 5, Disney World I was only 3 so I don't remember that one, but I still love seeing the pictures.

I think Primetime is great for kids. We've had a few in our groups before and they always seem to have a good time. They will bug kids about their elbows on the table and might do an airplane for them to finish their vegetables, so if they don't mind being called out in a large room then they will have a blast :thumbsup2

This weekend was super crazy since we picked up appliances and moved all of my stuff out of storage (plus I had a slight dilemma-see other post from today). I did start uploading to Photobucket last night though and will be posting more this week. I think Randy will have my pictures up too. I want to be through all of the wedding day by the time we leave for Hawaii :goodvibes

I can't wait to read your PJ and your report. Looking forward to hearing all about it. I enjoyed just listening to you and your mom talking about the dessert party, etc. :cool1:

Are you still going to finish your TR or did that person ruin it for all of us

Are you still going to finish your TR or did that person ruin it for all of us

Don't worry I won't let them ruin it for everyone else, I just wanted them to know that I am aware of what they're doing.

Anyway, I started uploading to Photobucket last night with the pictures from Randy. There are over 1,600 :cool1: which is really awesome, but it is making it hard to narrow down for my report.

I'm hoping to have some free time tonight to at least put up the pictures from the morning of the wedding when we were getting ready at the hotel.

I can't wait for the next installment! I'm so glad you didn't let that person ruin this for you. Don't ever let another person steal your thunder girl...you are too good of a person for that.
 And to whomever it is that is lurking...I was there during the time of the wedding and let me tell you something....IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AND YOU SHOULD WANT TO LOOK AT THE PICTURES BECAUSE YOU MISSED THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE!
Ok, I'm better now...sorry, can't stand people that are out to upset the actual good people that are still out there. Keep it going girl...we can't wait for more and good luck with the move. Oh yes, and you can still PM me if you need some Hawaii info before you leave! It's almost here:goodvibes

Glad to hear your going to keep posting! Can't wait to hear more!

:scared1: I'm so glad you are going to continue your TR!

It would be very sad not to share the rest of the trip with you...

Patiently waiting for my next fix!!! popcorn::

Gosh! I hate working and missing the DIS! Sorry about your inconsiderate lurker :cool2: Glad you are going on with the show! :yay:

Cant wait to see your Randy pix!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I was having trouble with Photobucket last night, the bulk loader wasn't working and there were way too many pictures to upload individually ;) I starting uploading this morning and should be able to start posting this afternoon.
