Vancouver - Transportation & Things to Do

We found the public transportation to be easy in Vancouver. We took the Canada Line from the airport to our hotel. We spent that evening walking around the area. Everything was very walkable. The next day we had a full day to explore before our cruise. We took the free bus to the suspension bridge park, really enjoyed our visit there. Then we walked a couple blocks and caught the city bus (just need a credit card with contactless payment to pay, I think the kids might have been free) to Stanley Park. It dropped us off right near a bicycle rental place (maybe it was called "spokes"?) we rented bikes and had a lovely ride around Stanley park. Then we explored a little more on foot and walked back to our hotel and dinner. The morning of the cruise we took our taxi from the hotel to the port it was very reasonably priced and he dropped us right where we needed to be to drop off our luggage.

We found the public transportation to be easy in Vancouver. . .

Me too. Besides the direct, one-seat ride between the airport and Waterfront Station (100m from Canada Place), the busses are good too. I took train/bus to/from RileyPark to see the Vancouver Canadiens, which was fun. No trouble at all. Just use GoogleMaps to access directions/schedule.
