Installation begins at ASMo on Monday.
I have no idea what a "beverage cooler" is but you can bet that it is not the same thing as a refrigerator. If it's the same thing as what they have on the cruise ships, it isn't very big and doesn't get as cold as a refrigerator. I wonder how much floor space that this will take up, if any, and whether guests who want a refrigerator will be able to get one if they want?
ETA: I found this picture of a "beverage cooler" on the Disney Magic.

WDW is installing refrigerators in all Value Resorts (no charge to guest) and will be completed by the end of April. Sounds like POP will be finished in the next week or so.
So there appears to be conflicting stories, right down to which resort will get the new appliance, the date it will be installed and the type of appliance that will be put into use. I guess that we will not really know what will be in the rooms until people return from the value resorts and begin reporting.
