Value Resorts and Inside Staterooms? Bah Humbug! 30 days of Disney fun! 02/10 Day 30

..to hear your new plans and you will have eaten at all the Disney signatures? WOW. That's an accomplishment in and of itself! :rotfl: I'm truly impressed. Which is your favorite, so far?

And as for plans changing, its only August 2nd and I know the plans for my trip are going to change a million times! ;)

New plans coming up soon. :goodvibes
Yes, we will tackle a few more signatures this time - that's why we did upgrade our free dining to the deluxe dining plan.
So far we have only eaten at Narcoossee's and the California Grill. Actually we just cancelled Narcoossee's as we really had a mediocre experience there last time.
As for California Grill - it is one of our all time favourites - the service, the food - everything is A+! Never been disappointed there! ;) :goodvibes

It's hard to believe it's so soon. Tomorrow it'll be exactly two weeks for my family and I!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I do love Paris!!! It's the whole "theme" of my bedroom!!! It's my dream to make it there someday, but it looks like for nowthe closest I'll get is the France Pavillion in EPCOT :rotfl: But I am trying to convince my parents to do the Adventures by Disney "Cities of Knights and Lights" trip which goes to both Paris and London (another place I'd love to go!!!) :lmao:

Yeah for just 2 more weeks!!! 11 days for us!

You should have let me know before we went to Paris last time! ;) I'm going through my Disneyland Paris stuff to find something for you, but I will certainly pick something up for you when we go back to Paris/DLRP in October/November!
And YES, you should do that ABD trip! Both cities are wonderful, even though I prefer London to Paris! :lmao:

Am very excited for MSEP, we are gonna do everything this year like its our first time. Am so excited that just typing this message makes me want to go DISNEY!!! (sorry, morning craziness just came out  )

You are going to love the MSEP, Stefy! It is such a fun parade and it comes from the place that started it all, Anaheim! ;)

You're going to be at the Poly before you know it now!

Good morning Karin! I can't believe your trip is less than two weeks away!

Still changing plans?

Okay, I guess I owe it to you all to FINALLY fill you in on what got changed - AGAIN!!!!!!!

Two reasons why some of our itineraries were changed.

a) Disney decided to extend the run of the Main Street Electrical Parade, which is our all time, forever ever favourite Disney night time parade! :cloud9: :rotfl2:
We don't usually plan our days around watching the parade and so far if we walked "into" Spectromagic, we would stop and watch for a while or watch from a distance, but MSEP is different for us.

Let me explain: Tom and I grew up with Disney cartoons, but Disney is NOT as huge here as it is in the US. So when we went on my first trip (and Tom's 3rd I think) all I wanted to visit were Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, as I loved the soap opera of the same name so much.
Well, in those days, 1992, we used a TA and she talked us into visiting 4 states and a few national parks in just 18 days! :scared1: She also talked us into visiting Universal Hollywood and Disneyland. In our itinerary we had 1 day at US and 2 at DL.
We landed in San Francisco, spent some days, drove down Highway 1 and finally arrived in LA, being shocked by the traffic we were not even sure we wanted to go to DL. But we did and FELL for it BIG TIME!! We loved everything about it and that first night we sat at the curb for about an hour waiting for the "evening parade". And when the Main Street Electical Parade arrived we were just stunned! We both loved it and still do!
2 years later and a second time 4 years later we took my mom and to see how she enjoyed the park and this particular parade was wonderful! So this is why it holds such a special place in our hearts.
We did see it at WDW and Disneyland Paris too and saw it during our visit to Disneyland in 2006 in Disney's California Adventure. Where I very vividly remember watching the MSEP and then running to DL to see the fireworks! :rotfl: And we MADE it, every single time! :rotfl2:

b) second reason - Mary Ellen and Joe decided that they wanted to come along to some more of our ADRs and I had to changed things around again.

In the beginning they had decided to get the deluxe DDP, just like us. Then when we were "locked" in with Disney UK (no changes without a fee! :scared1:) they backed out of it. So when it was my time to book our ADRs I sent her my list and she picked the ones they wanted to come along to. Since Joe is very picky they were limited a bit and picked just a few ADRs.
Now that she read about our itinerary and our ADRs they wanted to change some of them around and come along! Changing ADRs 4 weeks out - how I love that! :lmao: Oh, yeah and they wanted a dinner in the castle! And yes, I got it! :dance3:

So, here are the changes as far as I have already told you the itineraries!

Day 1:
No changes! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

Day 2:
I was able to get an earlier ADR at The Wave, so we can go to the MK afterwards and watch ..........

Day 10

Day 11
No changes

Day 12
No changes

Day 13 - 19
will be spent on board the Disney Wonder

Day 20
I was able to get a LATER ADR at the California Grill so we can go and see the MSEP in the park before dinner and then watch the fireworks from the viewing platform!

Day 21
No changes

Day 22
No changes

Day 23
We cancelled our Fantasmic Package at the Brown Derby, but booked a regular ADR for dinner (at a dinner time) at the Brown Derby.
After dinner we will happily leave the DHS and drive to the MK for MSEP (:rotfl2: yeah again) and the preferred fireworks viewing of Wishes.

As I haven't posted the still missing 7 days I won't bore you with the changes, but I will mention them as I post those 7 days!

Okay, gotta go now - Tom is picking me up in a few minutes as we are going to a restaurant for lunch! :goodvibes

Lol, aww bless you you really do love MSEP :) Glad that you could make the changes with no problems though :)

As excited as I am to see MSEP, I'm not sure I could watch the same show/parade 3 times!!! Good for you for really loving it :thumbsup2

I am going to watch the parade and fireworks at MK without a camera bc I think that last trip I was too busy trying to get the best pictures and not really taking in the moment. Besides my DH Greg was camera happy last trip so I'm guessing he will be again.

Okay Karin I will watch with an open mind !! The first time I went to Disney in 2007 I alone went to see Spectro as the others all pooped out !!I watched from the Railroad station and I FELL in LOVE. I had tears in my eyes and have never missed Spectro since !! But I will give MSEP a fair chance !!!

Rosie, I think you will like it. It is different, but being as it is the first one we saw, it holds a special place in our hearts.

Karin, you don't happen to like MSEP too much, do you? Your plans sound great and I'm glad you were able to change the ADR's that you wanted to change.

Day 7, Friday, August 20
Sleep in and snack breakfast in the room
AK
Lunch at the Mara at AKL
Relax at the resort
Dinner at Boma

Pirates Dismeet!!! - Yuki, did you see that they changed the EMH for that day - they are midnight until 3am!! :scared1:

Holy smokes, THREE A.M????? Good thing my next day is a do-nothing day with the earliest ADR at 2pm. I'm riding this gravy train till the end! May even be able to fit in a nap....

I don't think we need to change the time do we? I'm sure we'll still be able to meet at 11:30.

YIPPIE!!!!!!!!!! Look what was delivered today!!!!

Today while we were having lunch our doorbell rang and at first I thought it was one of the workers who work across the street and they want us to move our cars, but NO ...........

this guy was from ..................

FedEx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(FedEx is NOT very common here and things being delivered to OUR house by FedEx usually come from DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!)

He delivered a package and look what was inside!

Half of the paperwork for our first cruise this summer! :woohoo: :yay: (Only Tom's was delivered today! :lmao:)

Well, one step closer to our summer vacation - thought I HAD TO let all of you guys know!

I'm so excited for you! Even recieving the free dvd was exciting for me, haha. I could totally feel your emotions through your pictures.

That dessert tray on PALO made my jaw drop. Literally. I'm drooling at work here!

MSEP is being extended? That's wonderful! I had really hoped to be able to see it!

I LOVE that photo of you on EE. Great picture!!!

I can totally understand seeing it over and over. I am like that with Spectro, but my family wouldn't go for it .I have even watched the AK parade (my second favorite from the begining and then pop ove to where it comes back around and watch most of it again. Only Skip keeps telling to move along! LOL! Last year I watched the move it shake parade a couple of times too. I just like parades, I guess. LOL!

Good morning, everyone!

Let the countdown begin!!

Old Key West - HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!

:yay: :yay: :yay: for checking in, thats quite far in advance that they let you do that :) Gosh you must be so excited now, not long to go :)

A few thoughts, as I sit watching the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse w/ Max... :goodvibes

1. 10 Days....
:banana::woohoo:pixiedust:party:pixiedust::woohoo::banana:

2. Do you still have a lot to do? What fun it must be to be packing up for a thirty day trip! At least you can more easily predict the weather than we could in February!

3. And, of course, I can't wait for Disney to release their rates for 2011, but I have to say, I think I'm all set with booking CSR for a week, regardless. After a brief deviation from that plan (again!), I'm pretty much set with that. But, yes, our ADR window for that time is only in a couple of weeks. Hard to believe!

Have a great day!

I can't wait to hear what you say about Boma breakfast!! I'm really, really excited about that one myself!

WOHO for online check-in!!!!!!
