It’s guest bed season!

Have you ever slept in your guest bed(s)?

Ever slept in someone else’s guest bed?

Comfy? Uncomfortable? On purpose because you don’t want guest staying too long?

Since the kids have moved out we technically have two guest beds, still with the same mattresses, so they are likely comfortable or the kids should have really spoken up.

The guest bed we sleep in most is ok, but full size so painfully small.

our guest bed is a queen sized one. It's the best mattress in the house. Everybody sleeps like a baby on that bed!

I was in Canada back in 2022 for US thanksgiving (it was business as usual in Canada) and I got to spend thanksgiving eve at my cousin’s house. Nothing mind blowing but it got the job done. Would have preferred slouching on a bean bag chair-those are way more awesome!

Our guest beds are pretty decent. We have a twin in one room and a full in the other. Sometimes either DH or I will use them if one of us is wanting to sleep in and the other one is working.

I have two guest rooms both with Queen guest beds. The mattress for both are 2 years old. Bonus adult daughters stay here the most. They both said they comfortable. We have friends spending the weekend in a few weeks. I’m hoping they are comfortable.

Our guest bed is the queen that got moved in there when we got the king. It's not fancy, but I put one of those egg crate style toppers on it, and it's comfortable enough.

Our guest bedroom has a queen bed. I haven't heard any complaints from my granddaughter or my middle DS and DIL. (They obviously don't all sleep in the bed together). I have a daybed that my grandson loves in another room. His Dad my oldest likes the good ole couch.

I've slept in both of ours and have even slept on the sofa bed in my woman cave. Both of the guest beds are fairly comfortable, queen sized.

I always purchase the best mattress that I can afford because they will last a long time. My current guest bed is a full mattress and box spring. I actually have a visitor sleeping on it and he says it is very comfortable.

We have 2 guest beds......one queen (DGS's when he is here) and one king (DGD's and used to be DD's when she lived here).
No complaints.

I was the guest at DS's a couple of times when he lived in a different state. They only had a sofa bed in there computer room.....very uncomfortable. When visiting a friend it was on her sofa in the living room (not a sofa bed). VERY uncomfortable.

Our guest bed is fine. Not the best mattress, but nothing that bad. I've slept on it a couple times - once, during Covid when we were trying to isolate and a couple times when I was congested and/or snoring and was keeping my wife awake. Slept good on it most of those times.

When we would stay at my parents' house, we would sleep in my old bedroom - man, that mattress sucked.

We have 5 bedrooms, right now 2 are unoccupied but they’re twins (1 room is super tiny, the other my son wanted a twin). In the finished attic there is a futon in the room outside of the bedroom that gets used in an emergency. We have kind of a flop house here.

Never slept in our guest beds. We have one queen size guest bed, two queen size hideabeds, and one single hideabed, so sleeping for 7 guests. We replaced our family room queen size hideabed with a reclining couch, so we used to have sleeping for 9 guests. We have never had more than 8 guests. I have slept in guest beds at other peoples home, but these days we tend to prefer to get a hotel when visiting family. Just makes for a more pleasant visit.

Our guest bed mattresses are quite old, but they were firm to begin with and have remained so. We bought good quality toppers to go on them and have been told they are comfortable. We have a three-bedroom home so one of the kid's old bedrooms has a queen in it now and is set up as a guest room, and the other one has two twins in it. While it works for adults too, it is clearly set up for nieces, nephews, grandchildren, etc. They get used regularly and when mom lived in a facility near by my siblings and sometimes their spouses stayed for long periods of time with no complaint. Both are small in terms of having luggage set out, but people seem to make do.
