Oddly enough, that looks pretty darn close to what I ordered last time I went to B&C!!! As a then 7 year old, I remember thinking it was the biggest ice cream I'd ever seen (I hadn't known about KS at the time :rotfl2:) but hopefully this trip we'll be able to squeeze B&C in, as we weren't able to last time :sad2:

I would love to try Beaches and Cream too. I think the kitchen sink looks yummy, but I wonder if you can ask for different icecream. I'm not into many different flavors...I don't even like chocolate. So I would only like the vanilla part mostly. LOL!

Love Day 22. Can you believe we have never been to Beaches & Cream? I was hoping to squeeze it in this trip but I just don't see it happening. That Kitchen Sinks gives mje a tummy ache just looking at it.

I thought we were the only ones that had never been to Beaches & Cream!

I so want to go there...........

Even though I haven't been posting, I have been reading along.

I have also never been to B&C ~seems strange. Might have to do that this trip...

I'm getting excited for you now :yay:

Welcome! :flower3:

Thanks for reading along and finally joining in the chatter! :goodvibes
You definitely have to give B&C a try - the ice-cream sundaes are to die for! :thumbsup2

I'm here Karin and will be catching up !!Thanks for the HINT!!!!!

Welcome Rosie! :flower3:

I truely was missing you around here!

I can't even imagine the packing and preparation you must have to do right now! I would like to imagine it...but I just can't! :rotfl: You're getting so super close! And thanks for all the ice cream shots...I may have to put B&C on the list!

Well, I am a last minute packer, so no big deal there yet! ;)
Tom and I have started to make our personalized Fish Extender gifts for the 48 people on both cruises - well, I do keep a list for those - don't want to overlook anyone! :rotfl2:

Please put B&C on your list - they do an adorable Mickey sundae!

Borrowed this one from google! ;)

Ever since we have been going there (about 8 years ago) their sundaes haven't changed much! And these sundaes are HUGE - I don't know HOW big there scoops are but they are definitely bigger than Austrian scoops!! :rotfl2:

I would love to try Beaches and Cream too. I think the kitchen sink looks yummy, but I wonder if you can ask for different icecream. I'm not into many different flavors...I don't even like chocolate. So I would only like the vanilla part mostly. LOL!

As accommodating as Disney is, I guess it would not be a big problem to change the ice-cream. :thumbsup2 Tom and I love all the different flavours, so we are a-okay with it! :goodvibes

Go for it girl! That would be the perfect anniversary treat! :rolleyes1

Day 23
Sunday, September 5

We will need to get up early this morning as we have an ADR at the Grand Floridian Café.

IMG_7896.jpg

So we will drive to the Ticket and Transportation, park the car and ride the Monorail to the Grand Floridian.
It’ll be our first time having breakfast there and we are really looking forward to it. After indulging at the Grand Floridian Café we will ride the Monorail to the Magic Kingdom and meet Mary Ellen and Joe

for our early dinner at the Hollywood Brown Derby. Hopefully we will be able to pick up a Fastpass for one of the rides before dinner, so we will can ride one of our favourite rides with little wait. We will then get in line for Fantasmic - hopefully NOT too early.

They are from 10 to 1 am so I guess it will be a long night of fun for us.

Okay, opinions please. Will we make it to the MK after Fantasmic? Fantasmic is at 8.30 and if memory serves me right it is about 20 - 25 minutes long. Should let us exit the DHS at around 9pm. Should put us back to the car by 9.15 and arriving at the MK at around 9.30. That would leave us with about half an hour to get to the little garden in front of the Plaza for the preferred viewing (from the smoking area :scared1: - yes I know!)

What do you think, will it be possible? :confused3 Remember we have our own car, and since we'll arrive at DHS by mid afternoon we should be able to pick a "suitable spot" for our cause! :rotfl2:

You've got quite the schedule for Day 23. :wizard: I think it will depend on how fast you can exit DHS if you will make it to MK on time. Since you have a car, it may be faster but then again there is the travel time from TTC to MK.

It's too bad that they don't let you park at the monorail resorts. You would surely get there faster if they did. :rolleyes1 Meaning, if you parked at a monorail resort you can make much better time than parking at the TTC, getting a tram to the monorail, etc. :rolleyes1

Yes, I too thought we were cutting it pretty close! :lmao: The one thing that gives me hope is that since we will arrive late at the MK there are no more CM telling you WHERE to park and usually a lot of spots in the Minnie section would be free - so no waiting for the tram and by that time the Monorails should be running pretty frequently! Guess we'll just give it a try! THANKS for your input!!! :flower3:

What an amazing day you have planned for yourselves. Hope you don't get too tired to enjoy EMH's at MK! We had so much fun there last year...till 3 a.m.! :scared1: Have you been to the Brown Derby before?

Hi Kathy!

Yes, we did receive 3 out of 4 parts of our cruise documents! :yay: Tom is set for both parts - I only have gotten one! :confused3

AND ............ yesterday I got one set of vouchers for the hotel! Funnily enough it is for the second part of our trip! So we have a "home" from Sept 2 - 11, now all I need are the vouchers for our stay from Aug 14 - Aug 26.

The thing is that the vouchers for the preferred fireworks are in there and you need those to get in, even though they give you a confirmation number when you book it!

But at the moment I am on :cloud9: with my paperwork and I am working on my "take along" itinerary folder with all the printouts I will need for hotels, ADRs aso.

AWESOME NEWS!!!!

I'm exhausted just reading this days worth of excitement. I'm a little worried about that Fantasmic to the MK thing. If the show is over by 8:55, you still have to fight the crowds to get out of the theater, get to your car, out of the parking lot to the TTC and then on a monorail or boat. But if anyone can do it, you and Tom can. :thumbsup2

Personally, I'd say leave fantasmic a couple minutes early (if you don't mind missing a tiny bit, I'd say leave after the boat scene) to get as much of a head start as possible (but thats just my opinion )

Just have to say, I love of all of your pictures, they're all so well-taken and bring back a lot of good memories!!!

On a side note, I had a dream last night that my parents decided to take me and my sister to DLRP today. Of course, I was so excited to tell everyone on the DIS, but, lo and behold, it was just a dream :sad1: Luckily in only 20 days I'll be going to disney for real!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Your photos are so beautiful! What kind of camera do you use? I confess that I use disposable cameras :scared1: and I desperately need a better camera for my trip in September!

Well I am catching up !! We ate at the Wave in February this year !!Both times I have been there I had the Steakor Filet I believe they call it !! The desset Trio I like the best is the no added sugar , the choc.mint mousse is delish and I am NOT a choc pudding fan!!!

I have dreams liek that too. I'm going to Disney unexpectedly and I thin ki can't wait to tell my Dis freinds. LOL! Waking up is not so nice then.

All caught up on your DLP posts! Looks like so much fun! I love the little Villas - they look like they belong in Roger Rabbit, which is in DL. Your trip is getting so close! You must be almost packed by now :thumbsup2

Wow thats a jam packed day. You should be able to make it in time for Wishes, esp if you get a good spot, just make sure you are ahead of the crowds when you are going to your car, as I remember when we left the stage area of Fantasmic it took ages to get out of that crowd!!!

Still catching up !! But I am up to date with the PTR!!!Next August we will be going to celebrate the girls 16th birthday !!The only thing we know for sue is we will eat at CRT on August 22nd 2011!!!!Will you and Tom be in Disney next August??

Im gonna join in now even though im a lot late! :lmao:

I've heard a lot about this report from my sister (kellybelly777) and well be in disney at the same time so i have to read!

Hello everyone! :flower3:

I just need to share my excitement before going back to answer your posts!

It was a wonderful day today!!

:woohoo: :cheer2: THE MAIN STREET ELECTRICAL PARADE IS EXTENDING ITS RUN!!!! :cheer2: :woohoo:
This is Tom's and mine alltime, forever and ever favourite    parade! :rotfl2: We were not "very happy" when we realized that it would end the day we are arriving in Orlando, but now they have decided that they will keep it running and the news had me dancing around the room this afternoon! ;) :lmao:

Needless to say the thought of having to miss my beloved MSEP because of an ADR :scared1: made me check the reservation site (which is a horror today - it freezes on EVERY ADR) and after some work I was able to tweak some of our dining times and now we will be able to go and see  MSEP  often! :dance3:

The other thing that happened today was, that my missing FedEx envelope with part 4 of 4 of our travel document finally arrived.
BUT - you will NOT believe this. Now I have been waiting for that envelope all week and I even called FedEx today to ask about it and they assured me there was NO envelope on the way for me. I thought I might better stop worrying about it as it is not absolutely necessary to bring it with me.
Well, guess what, when I got home this evening what do I find in my postbox, but the envelope I was waiting for.
Since it had taken 6 days longer than Tom's I checked online WHY it had been so slow. Well, it travelled round the world, literally!
Mailed in Orlando it went to Memphis, then to Honolulu, from there to Australia (yip, they sent it to Australia instead of Austria! :rotfl2: :rotfl:) then onward to China, Kasachstan, France and FINALLY Austria. Could they please credit me the airmiles? ;) :rolleyes1
So, as I said before - it was a good day today -:cloud9: MSEP :cloud9::love: and ALL our cruisepapers are here! Can't get much better, can it? :yay:

As soon as I saw your post about the MSEP, I had to see it for myself. Open ended? Yay! That means we'll (hopefully) be able to see it when we go down in October! :) Wow, you should save the envelope from that package. It definitely traveled to more places than I ever will!
