It was far easier than I expected! Maybe I should not bother making ADRs 180 days in advance! But then ........ I would have nothing to change!

As excited as I am to see MSEP, I'm not sure I could watch the same show/parade 3 times!!! Good for you for really loving it

The thing is that we intend to watch it 5 to 6 times over a course of 4 weeks, so that is not THAT bad, is it?
I hope you'll love it as much as we do!

I am going to watch the parade and fireworks at MK without a camera bc I think that last trip I was too busy trying to get the best pictures and not really taking in the moment. Besides my DH Greg was camera happy last trip so I'm guessing he will be again.

That's why I want to watch it more often - once for taking photos (Tom's new camera really works well for moving things in the dark) and a few times just to enjoy it! Last year Tom was so happy with his new camera that he took about 500 photos during EVERY Wishes display we saw, but in the end HE never got to really experience it - always throught the camera!

Okay Karin I will watch with an open mind !! The first time I went to Disney in 2007 I alone went to see Spectro as the others all pooped out !!I watched from the Railroad station and I FELL in LOVE. I had tears in my eyes and have never missed Spectro since !! But I will give MSEP a fair chance !!!

Guess MSEP did that for me! I was in awe when I first saw it ....... guess it always boils down to what you saw first and HOW MUCH it got to you! But I am glad you are giving it a chance!

Rosie, I think you will like it. It is different, but being as it is the first one we saw, it holds a special place in our hearts.

Karin, you don't happen to like MSEP too much, do you? Your plans sound great and I'm glad you were able to change the ADR's that you wanted to change.

I can only second what you say about the MSEP, Kathy!

Maybe I do like it too much, but then we haven't seen it in 4 long years and I was just so happy to get to see it at all!

Just read on Facebook, posted by my TA (associated with Disney) that as of March 1, LeCellier will be a 2TS for dinner and remain a 1TS for lunch.

There were rumours that LeCellier would become a signature dining restaurant for about 3 months now!
So it looks as they were true. Puzzles me that they keep it 1 TS for lunch, but as long as they keep the food yummy we will still eat there.

Yes, that was the rumor, and it is now fact (Disney has confirmed it). I will still go as long as the food stays yummy; and I have to have my cheddar cheese soup and my cream cheese mashed potatos.

We have two ADRs there this vacation. One for dinner and one for lunch! And I hope that we will get another one for our vacation in February!

Yes, 3am!! It's good though, as the later it gets the more empty the MK grows and the more relaxed the CMs get. We had EMH where we rode BTMR without having to get out again - it was FUN!!!!!!!

I'm okay with the 11.30 meet time, as long as we will be able to watch MSEP before that!

We nearly have ALL our paperwork by now. All we are missing are the documents for the first hotel part, which have been sent out July 29! So they should arrive VERY soon!

Palo is just wonderful! And the dessert tray is just a fraction of the desserts they were offering!

I can totally understand seeing it over and over. I am like that with Spectro, but my family wouldn't go for it .I have even watched the AK parade (my second favorite from the begining and then pop ove to where it comes back around and watch most of it again. Only Skip keeps telling to move along! LOL! Last year I watched the move it shake parade a couple of times too. I just like parades, I guess. LOL!

I love parades too! Thankfully Tom likes them too and agrees to watch them - well, he mostly watches them from behind his camera lens!

A few thoughts, as I sit watching the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse w/ Max...

1. 10 Days....


2. Do you still have a lot to do? What fun it must be to be packing up for a thirty day trip! At least you can more easily predict the weather than we could in February!

3. And, of course, I can't wait for Disney to release their rates for 2011, but I have to say, I think I'm all set with booking CSR for a week, regardless. After a brief deviation from that plan (again!), I'm pretty much set with that. But, yes, our ADR window for that time is only in a couple of weeks. Hard to believe!

Do we still have to do a lot? Well, we spend the weekend in Vienna and have a few more Fish Extender gifts to finish and I have just started deep cleaning my flat - oh, yeah, and I need to think about packing next week!

I check Disney's site for rates for 2011 EVERY day! I wish they would finally make their mind up - I know you can book by phone and they will let you know the price, but I would rather "see" it before calling.
I guess we will stay at CSR again too, so that should make it more easy to meet - should we NOT stay there, then we will always have a car, so meeting would not be such a huge problem (thinking about the pirate rooms at CBR, )

Online check in is easy - you go to My Disney Vacation 10 days before your vacation starts and fill in all the details.
Then when you arrive you go to the online check in desk and just pick up your folder and KTTW cards - it was a breeze last February and it makes it so much more real!

I can tell you about Boma breakfast right away - it is wonderful! The scrambled eggs with goats cheese (I think - can't remember exactly) are heavenly and the house juice is to die for!
We are trying it for dinner this time - it is going to be a first for us!

The appetizer I posted is the Spicy Chicken and Chipotle Sausage - with creamy polenta and sweet onion jam. It IS spicy, but it is sooooooooo good. A Canadian CM suggested we get that and a bowl of the cheese soup and dip the sausage in the soup - it sounded odd at first, but it was to die for - we would not have it any other way ever since!

Rosie, I second your comment on Boma breakfast! We usually pay oop for it too! This is where TiW comes in handy!

Give LeCellier a second chance! They still offer a maple creme brulee (but I still prefer the one at Wolfgang Puck's Express!
The "new" dessert at LeCellier is the Le Cellier Mont Blanc Semifreddo with chilled Fruit Soup.

This inside is like a lightly frozen vanilla custard/blancmange. The outside is Italian meringue (cooked while whipped), which has been browned, like a Baked Alaska. The fruit soup is slightly tart, so it goes VERY well with the sweet Mont Blanc!
It was something completely new, so we both really wanted to try it and we were NOT disappointed - two very happy bunnies indeed!
