Hello everyone!

I just need to share my excitement before going back to answer your posts!

It was a wonderful day today!!

THE MAIN STREET ELECTRICAL PARADE IS EXTENDING ITS RUN!!!!
This is Tom's and mine alltime, forever and ever favourite parade! We were not "very happy" when we realized that it would end the day we are arriving in Orlando, but now they have decided that they will keep it running and the news had me dancing around the room this afternoon!

I saw this posted on another person's PTR and I was so excited to see the news. Now, I have to go back and look at our schedule and see if we can fit it in.

I'm thinking you are going to cut it close and a little too close for what my nerves could handle. Getting out of F! took us about 10 minutes if not 15 minutes and that was just to get to the front of the long walkway between the entrance to the theater and the actual theater. I wonder if you could schedule to see F! another day and just enjoy some rides after dinner before heading over to MK? Otherwise, it should make for a could cliffhanger for your TR when you return!

They are both great. I'm not sure which one I like better. But it's been years since we saw the Electric Parade.

Oh, I hope you get to see it, Rosie! You may still prefer Spectro becasue it is an update version of sorts - The Main Street Electrical light Parade is an oldie but good...took years for it to grow on me, then I missed it when it was gone! Wish I could see it again too, but not likely.

I really love spectro. I have watched the other on youtube and just thought the music was awful. So I was glad it was only coming for the summer. I sure hope Spectro is back when we go. I plan days around Spetro. LOL! I guess I should diverse myself and allow change, but something about Spectros music just gets me going.
The last 3 years we have seen in on arrival night and it seems to really kick off the trip. If we go in Dec, we wouldn't see it till later in the trip and I'm having a bit of panic over that, even.
Just call me crazy..I can take it! I know I am!

I'm so very excited that the parade is being extended!!! I hope it's still there in October.

Some of my favorite memories from when I was little involve that parade; I used to LOVE Pete, so I'm hoping to see him again!!!

What an amazing day you have planned for yourselves. Hope you don't get too tired to enjoy EMH's at MK! We had so much fun there last year...till 3 a.m.! Have you been to the Brown Derby before?

Tina, you won't believe it, but our itinerary has changed, AGAIN, ! I'll fill you in on the details once I have caught up with all the comments!

This will be our first time to the Brown Derby and in my "I need to changed everything around" frenzy to fit in as much MSEP as possible I dropped my Fantasmic Package and we have a regular reservation at the HBD now! Can't wait, after this year's vacation we will have been to ALL the signatures at Disney!

I'm exhausted just reading this days worth of excitement. I'm a little worried about that Fantasmic to the MK thing. If the show is over by 8:55, you still have to fight the crowds to get out of the theater, get to your car, out of the parking lot to the TTC and then on a monorail or boat. But if anyone can do it, you and Tom can.

The Fantasmic thing is off! MSEP is ON!!!! I had to change a few things but we are quite happy with it now. Only thing that really got to me - I had to redo so much of my itinerary that I had to work on it until 1.30am yesterday!

Personally, I'd say leave fantasmic a couple minutes early (if you don't mind missing a tiny bit, I'd say leave after the boat scene) to get as much of a head start as possible (but thats just my opinion )

Just have to say, I love of all of your pictures, they're all so well-taken and bring back a lot of good memories!!!

On a side note, I had a dream last night that my parents decided to take me and my sister to DLRP today. Of course, I was so excited to tell everyone on the DIS, but, lo and behold, it was just a dream Luckily in only 20 days I'll be going to disney for real!!!

Thanks for the advice on Fantasmic. But we have now decided to skip it anyway!

Hm, maybe I should suggest taking you to DLRP when we meet on Aug 20. That is THIS MONTH!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it??

Your photos are so beautiful! What kind of camera do you use? I confess that I use disposable cameras and I desperately need a better camera for my trip in September!

Most of these photos were taken with my Canon Ixus 70. I have had it for some time now and I really love it. It is small and it takes amazing photos of food!
Tom got a Nikon D90 last summer and his fireworks photos are real wonderful. I like to use it too, sometimes, or on school trips, but when at WDW I prefer my tiny camera!

Well I am catching up !! We ate at the Wave in February this year !!Both times I have been there I had the Steakor Filet I believe they call it !! The desset Trio I like the best is the no added sugar , the choc.mint mousse is delish and I am NOT a choc pudding fan!!!

All caught up on your DLP posts! Looks like so much fun! I love the little Villas - they look like they belong in Roger Rabbit, which is in DL. Your trip is getting so close! You must be almost packed by now

DLRP is a lot of fun! I loved the Roger Rabbit comment! So true!

Our trip is really getting close now! Only 12 days and 7 hours until we leave! Packing will be done the evening before we leave, never done it any earlier! We only pack for 4 weeks, so that should not be too hard!

Wow thats a jam packed day. You should be able to make it in time for Wishes, esp if you get a good spot, just make sure you are ahead of the crowds when you are going to your car, as I remember when we left the stage area of Fantasmic it took ages to get out of that crowd!!!

As soon as I saw your post about the MSEP, I had to see it for myself. Open ended? Yay! That means we'll (hopefully) be able to see it when we go down in October! Wow, you should save the envelope from that package. It definitely traveled to more places than I ever will!

I hope that the MSEP will still be running in October, when you are there! I saved the page from FedEx that showed all the different destinations of my travel documents.

It's hard to believe it's so soon. Tomorrow it'll be exactly two weeks for my family and I!!!

I do love Paris!!! It's the whole "theme" of my bedroom!!! It's my dream to make it there someday, but it looks like for nowthe closest I'll get is the France Pavillion in EPCOT But I am trying to convince my parents to do the Adventures by Disney "Cities of Knights and Lights" trip which goes to both Paris and London (another place I'd love to go!!!)

We are super excited too! It's been a while since we saw it in the California Adventure park in Anaheim!

To me it is Rosie, and I'll let you know WHY, once I have finished answering to all of these comments! You HAVE TO see it - it is very contagous though - Tom usually compares it to the Small World song - once you have it in your system - it won't go away.

They are both great. I'm not sure which one I like better. But it's been years since we saw the Electric Parade.

I definitely like MSEP better, !

Sorry Jen, but I feel the same way you feel for the MSEP, for Spectro! It's okay if we walk "into" it, but I would not wait for it - but there is a reason WHY we love MSEP so much - I'll let you all know in the update!

You will have lots of fun watching the parade, especially if you've never seen it before - it's been 5 years for us since we last saw it in Anaheim and I remember us running from park to park to watch the MSEP and then the fireworks to see Tinkerbell fly - all around the castle, not just down the line!

Not the first time a Disney travel document has travelled to Australia first, but this time I was not expecting it, after 3 pieces coming in with no problems.
