Value Resort for July 4th

We are planning a trip to Disney for the week of July 4th. We always stay at a value resort because we are park people and are never in our room and because we are cheap Last year we stayed at All Star Sports, our favorite value, during our July 4th trip and our stay was less than magical this time. The resort was essentially taken over by large tour groups and youth baseball teams. Can anyone recommend a value during this time period that will be quieter and not have the large tour groups? I assume the sports teams would probably only be staying at Sports. I would prefer not to stay at AoA because the price is much higher than the other values, and if there is a discount code for that time period it will probably not include AoA.

I would try the Pop Century, it's usually eligible for discounts if you book soon after they come out. Usually its just families there, they also have their own dedicated bus service! You can also walk across the bridge and check out AoA which is very well themes IMO.

All the values will be packed over the 4th holiday. We've been at POP and ASMu at that time and it was crazy. I don't recall any large groups though.

It's really hard to say that one will be better than the other. I think with the size of POP it might actually be the worst choice. Nearly 3000 rooms and only one food court and one bus stop. POP is the only value that I have ever had to wait for a second or third bus before getting on.
