Is October value or regular season? If a few of your days are in September (value) & a few in October (say it's regular) do they charge you the value rate for the entire stay or split the charges?

Value Season: 1/1 - 2/14, 8/5 - 10/3, 11/25 - 12/19
Regular Season: 4/15 - 5/23, 10/4 - 11/24
Summer Season: 5/24 - 8/4
Peak Season: 2/15 - 4/14
Holiday Season: 12/20 - 12/31

If you arrived on 10/3 they would charge value price. From then on would be regular. Hope this helps

I think for 2007 if you start in Value season all the days are at that rate. I did read that beginning in 2008, the price per night will be split with the "season" involved. I even saw that weekends may have different rates. This is a big change from what things used to be.

Thank you for your info. I kinda guessed that was the case with the splitting of rates, since when I put in 10 days all in September, I got one rate, then when I put 10 days in with 5 days in September & 5 days in October, I got a higher price. Now I need to decide if I want my entire vacation in September or end of September to beginning of October for more $$.

Thanks again!

You're quite welcome!! If it doesn't really matter that much why not just go in Sept. I think that's what I would do. Have a great time either way!!

As this is a solo trip, it does not matter when I go. Just want to go when it's not too hot or rainy, but also during the fall holidays for MNSSHP and the F&W festival.

If you at least go during part of late Sept, Disney may offer the free dining. This year the reservation had to start by Sept 22 to qualify. That's when we are starting our stay. Just a thought. You could book a room and if the dining is offered add it. I know my kids did last year (they had a room only and the free dining was offered and they were able to add) We are also going to Mickey's Not So Scary Holloween Party on the 28th.

I also thought that for the remainder of 2007 that your nightly rate was based on when you checked in. So if you checked on a "Value Season" night but the rest were "Regular Season" nights, you would be charge "Value Season" for your entire stay. I didn't think they were doing the new rates and charging per night based on season/weekend/holiday until 2008.
