We just got back from AKL and stayed in a Savannah view room...the savannah view we had was not the greatest...but we are already talking about a return trip to AKL Villas..this time in a standard or Value room. So friends will be coming along..what I am wondering is will we be able to get a Value studio in the same area as a standard 1 bedroom?? They need the room that will hold 5.

This map shows the locations of the Value (lime green) and Standard View (yellow) rooms. The pool view Value rooms would be very close to the Standard View rooms.

If you are staying for the same time period can you not transfer points from one account to another and get a 2 bed standard view?

Hey
Thanks for the info...b/w the two families going there will be 6 kids...so we felt it would work best if we had 2 separate rooms to do naps, etc.

We are renting as well..we just got back last week and it was great!!!

The studio part of a 2 bed would be a lock off so it can be shut off from the one bed, just thinking it will save points/money for you and make easier during other times of the day as can keep the door open to chat etc. Also if the three will sleep together on the master bed it could leave the lounge area for the adults to sit in.

Claire you are a genious!!! heheehee...thank you sooo much, I never even thought of it that way!!
Now how to hide the 2nd infant under 3..hmmm I don't think they will let us book it..there would be 9 people over 3 and 2 infants under 2. hmmmmmm Thats over the capacity isn't it..so that won't work maybe..I will have to email the guy who rented to us last week.

How many people total? If you have 4 adults and 5 children, you are still within the occupancy for an AKV 2 bedroom standard or savanna view (not for a value view, however). There will be a king bed in the master, a queen bed and a fuololo pull out in the 2nd bedroom, and a queen pull out and a twin pullout in the living room.

No we would have 5 adults and 6 children...a total of 11 (the kids would be aged 14, 4, 3, 2, 2, 1)
So there would be 3 kids all under the age of 3 that would be sleeping either with their parents or in a pack and play. It would work if booking separately as both rooms allow one child under 3.

Hmmm now there is a question, would be interesting to know as I bet there are other families wondering the same.

don't think so - they in separate areas - still swimming - but separate areas.

you definitely need a standard 1-bedroom for the sleep 5.

here is a map that goes with what Lisa posted
