Hi...wondering if we can valet park for the day at the Contemporary if we are not staying there? My understanding is that it is $20 to park...is that correct?

If you park at the Contemporary, no need to take the monorail. Just walk across the street and you'll be at the MK gate. If you choose the monorail, you'll have to take the Resort Monorail that runs clock-wise and stops at the other resorts first. After Contemporary would be the TTC (MK parking), then Poly, then Grand Floridian, then MK. Returning from MK, if you went by Resort Monorail, first stop would be the Contemporary. That ride might be worth it.
A few years back we snuck in a WDW trip on a 'Southern Swing' vacation that included Myrtle Beach, Savannah and St. Augustine. We stayed off site but wanted the feeling that we were 'home', which for us is Board Walk. So... we valet parked every day and took the bus to the MK form there, walking to DHS and Epcot. We'd go back to our off site digs to freshen up, the daily valet fee allowed us unlimited comings and goings.
