Valet Parking When Not Staying at Resort

This is an incredibly old thread...it's from 2007!
Again, unless there is some reason (a convention or such), anyone can pay to valet park. Then, you are free to go anywhere, do anything you want.
Those visiting the resort (shopping, ADR, etc.) can self-park. But, self-parking is not intended for non-resort guests intending to go to a park.

There is just one problem with that. The Cast Member at the guard shack might also turn them away from valet parking. This past August and on previous stays at the Contemporary I saw a lot of cars that were turned away from parking at the Contemporary, so obviously they are cracking down on non guests from parking there if they don't have a valid reason for going there.
FWIW We've been turned away in late August from CR valet with a handicap placard (DS wanted to go see Chef Mickeys (no ADR) and then we would eat at Contempo and shop at the store; no park).

I.e. even if CR valet parking is allowed for full day/go to park, OP should have a plan B ready. I also have twins and would definitely do the drop off at TTC (it's close enough to the monorail IIRC, but you do go through bag check there fyi) if traveling with spouse, and then I'd go park the car and meet at x spot to take monorail together. That's a memory I'd want with the family. And then you get the monorail back to TTC, and get to look in the 3 resorts - or stop at 1 to look around - and save a few $$ over valet.

Well, since the OPs twins are now about 14, I doubt the stroller is an issue anymore!
